That's good news NZ. Just how will all of the rebuilding and infrastucture be financed?

Final Score: Well there wasn't any.

Insurance and the government. So with Japan, worldwide insurance premiums are set to increase. Sorry about that.

Morning all (or afternoon/evening to NZ), getting the red-eye bus to the airport in about half an hour, leaving in about 10 mins to get there, then on the first flight to Gatwick. Being woken by seagulls who are nesting on one of the rooftops nearby doesn't help. If any of you in the Rookery this afternoon see someone 5' 5" tall in an away shirt looking tired, it's probably me. I return to the island tomorrow afternoon, so this is my last post until I return.

I was sure I would be first up this morning, but beaten to it. ;)

My progress to the UK is likely to be a little slower seeing as I am driving. Looks as if I will be struggling to keep up with the match this afternoon seeing as my technology is only one step up from a couple of semaphore flags. :(

Enjoy the game jsybaz, I hope it is the right result for us all.

Morning all safe journey to all travelling!
NZ great video those kids are talented !!! Glad you got clean water again! On a positive note I see theyre playing rugby at the AMI again which means the structural concerns of the stadium must be acceptable!
Just thinking of the vid again to find positives after that kind of disaster ,It is very re assuring to see the way that the Cch people have got back to some sort of normality!

    Good Morning All

Great vid NZ, glad things are getting there!! Was in Christchurch for the Lions tour in '05. Had a few beers in bar that had a little stadium in front of the big screen... Possibly the Holy Grail, if I remember rightly, and a few after-game drinks in an Irish bar...
