Apparently we are getting a little girl black labrador retriever puppy tomorrow - any suggestions for names?

In some cultures they do not name their children until they have seen what they are like. I, personally, really like this concept. Esspecially if the names mean something, or have an important significance in society. My advice is to wait and see what the pup is like and name it accordingly.

Then 'jet' mightactually be whippy and fast. My sis's dog is called 'flash' and lives up to his name. My old man's hound is called 'bouncer' well, he doesn't actually move quickly or bounce around. Get my drift....

Right that's us all done, all packed and ready for the mini-bus at 07.00 in the morning for the lovely trip to Gatwick....see you all soon. I hope to be able to catch up on match reports from somewhere in Florida!

COYH....

Morning all, well that's the garden done now a quick break to check the footie news and then an hour on the exercise bike followed by a trip to Halfords for a new set of headlight bulbs as one has gone! Best to change the two though as you just know the other one will follow shortly! Have a good one, one and all;)

If that isn't inspired by the Olympics I don't know what is ;)

Today, I'm searching for an intermediate job to take me through to April, hard to motivate myself as I have already done this before but hey ho, life sometimes deals you a rough hand!! Also, gunna go for a run, blow the cobwebs away. Mo, watch out :P

That reminds me of the story of the Little Red Indian boy who asked his father, "Why is my oldest brother called Great Bear", his father replied, "When he was born I went out of the teepee and on the Horizon the first thing I saw was a Great big Bear, so I named him Great Bear". The boy then asked "Why is my sister called Running Deer" his Father Replied, "When she was born I again went out of the teepee and by the river I saw a young deer running across the bank, so I named her Running Deer" His Father then said, "Why all the questions Two Dogs Humping?". :emoticon-0114-dull:

Good luck with naming her Leo, I bet she will be a little bitch (sorry about that). I'm sure when you see her the right name for her will come straight away.

Good luck with the job hunt Hamps! As for being inspired by the Olympics, yes it be made me want to try harder to lose weight but I was trying before the Games began...but watching those athletes do their best and not give up really gave me the extra push to succeed to get my weight down by even more;)
