Morning all from a damp but warm Bandit Country....TGI Friday and looking forward to the trek up norf tomorrow. Thanks for the frothy AK
Maybe a bigger tip next time? AK likes a bit extra now an then. Thanks for all the lattes AK by the way.
Mrs S if very keen on this as she puts it into physical action. If I am not quick enough it is followed by a "biff and a blow for being so slow" which is usually the case as I am half asleep. If you are awake and alert you can respond by "a biff and a kick for being so quick" First thing she does on getting up is change the calendars - OCD - Obsessive Calendar Disorder.
Evening all. Just back from a week in Rome. Saw alll the sights, walked miles, and enjoyed cuisine and wine. England feels very cold!
Welcome back Theo, thought that something was missing. I will be crossing the waters next week. Do you suggest that I should bring my warmest winter wear?
Thank you, Frenchie. Rome was 23/25 degrees so it's all relative. The forecast for the early part of next week here in Hampshire is not too bad so the single layer long johns should be sufficient
Evening all from a very mild bandit country - tune into BBC 4 - it's Elton night and some great vintage stuff is now up - Your Song
And good morning from a somewhat gloomy and painful North of Scotland. Today is the day I tackle the stairs for the first time - and also get to go outside for a quarter mile 'walk'. Unless, of course, it rains - which is looking increasingly likely.
Morning all, promise of sunshine in rural France today after a very wet night. Need to get plenty of jobs done in the coming days before my trip across the channel. These international breaks are a pain. Without this one I might have got to a game, but at least I will not be missing Jon Marks in full flow. I think we might have Nick Wright with him this afternoon who is very interesting to listen to and usually brings the Horns good luck. Have a sneaking feeling this will be hard work for us against an improving team.
Evening all. Will probably miss tonight's game as I hosted a birthday party for a bunch of 6 year olds this afternoon. They ended up having water fights, outside thankfully. They exhausted the adults before themselves.
Morning all from cloudy Hampshire. Exercise done, paper bought and coffee made. A relaxing day, I hope, following the football...
morning all from a mild but overcast NW London. have some work and baby sitting to do this PM but hoping to catch the climax of soccer Saturday. Will definitely have a beer or two this evening! is it this week that H is doing her run? if so the very best of luck to her!
I think he has been talking to Doris too much. Live Text Commentary 66:45 Dismissal Dismissal Second yellow card to Nathaniel Chalobah (Nottingham Forest) for a bad foul.
