Mrs S if very keen on this as she puts it into physical action. If I am not quick enough it is followed by a "biff and a blow for being so slow" which is usually the case as I am half asleep.

If you are awake and alert you can respond by "a biff and a kick for being so quick":emoticon-0146-punch

First thing she does on getting up is change the calendars - OCD - Obsessive Calendar Disorder.

    Evening all.
Just back from a week in Rome. Saw alll the sights, walked miles, and enjoyed cuisine and wine. England feels very cold!

Welcome back Theo, thought that something was missing.;)

I will be crossing the waters next week. Do you suggest that I should bring my warmest winter wear?

Thank you, Frenchie. Rome was 23/25 degrees so it's all relative. The forecast for the early part of next week here in Hampshire is not too bad so the single layer long johns should be sufficient <laugh>

And good morning from a somewhat gloomy and painful North of Scotland. Today is the day I tackle the stairs for the first time - and also get to go outside for a quarter mile 'walk'. Unless, of course, it rains - which is looking increasingly likely.

Morning all, promise of sunshine in rural France today after a very wet night. Need to get plenty of jobs done in the coming days before my trip across the channel. These international breaks are a pain. Without this one I might have got to a game, but at least I will not be missing Jon Marks in full flow. I think we might have Nick Wright with him this afternoon who is very interesting to listen to and usually brings the Horns good luck. Have a sneaking feeling this will be hard work for us against an improving team.

Evening all. Will probably miss tonight's game as I hosted a birthday party for a bunch of 6 year olds this afternoon. They ended up having water fights, outside thankfully. They exhausted the adults before themselves.

Morning all from cloudy Hampshire. Exercise done, paper bought and coffee made. A relaxing day, I hope, following the football...
