Morning all from a dull West West London, hopefullit will brighten up later and lift my mood. Out on the piss tonight with some current and ex collegues and staying out, so I should be hanging tomorrow.
Thanks in advance for the frothy AK - any chance I can pre-order a couple of poached puffin eggs on wholemeal toast for tomorrow morning? I know it's cheeky, but I have not asked since the 606 days!

morning all, thanks for the caramel latte Ak :).

Last night was disappointing, but there were so many positives. To have our B team hold an EPL team for so long, just to tire at the end, was a huge credit to them, and there were some wonderful performances, not least from Sean Murray and Davide Faraoni. (what a goal!). Great to see Acuna get on the score sheet too. It was a great game, and in some ways, hugely satisfying. And although we didn't win, we deserved to...which felt good, despite the disappointment. Onwards and upwards...a good FA cup run approaches, and by that time, we'll have had time to concentrate on the league :). It's all good :)

Have a great day all :)

The thing is FF, she is bang on the money, I honestly believe the Hornets did not deserve to lose that match! <ok>

If we'd got through and we'd been drawn at home, I would've been able to go as the next round is during half-term week when I'm over.

Seems to be a lot of caramel latte drank in the The Hornets Nest, too much of it isn't good for you.

Nice try AB ... but 'darn sarf' we have had years of familiarity with establishments such as Starbucks, Costa, Cafe Nero and the like ... you may try and blag it but we are well aware that the closest the Geordies have come to a latte is a film of wind blown UHT milk on a mug of Maxwell House or Nescafe containing upwards of 10 spoonfuls of sugar ... <laugh>

I can't help noticing that since the new era emerged at the Vic I am now much more disappointed about defeats than I have been for many years. Clearly, no matter what the logical part do my brain tells me, my expectations are now much higher. The emotional part of my brain has taken over, as far as WFC is concerned.
