We have less than 3C and there is a mist in the fjörd. KA won the last match in Akureyri and now go to visit GrindavÃk for their last match this season. On saturday the team in second seat VÃkingur ReykjavÃk beat Völsungur 16:0. Völsungur are not a good team and have two draws this season from 21 games, the goals are 15:78. Even KA beat them 0:6 last week on their own field!
Thanks for the caramel latte Ak, does a temperature of 3C make you feel cold or are you accustomed to it? I know I once visited a friend in Spain on the Costa del Sol in November, the temperature was 21C, warm enough for T shirt and shorts for me, but all the locals were wearing overcoats!
Morning all, a very good and interesting dinner out yesterday. Met for the first time an elderly gent who is an AFC Wimbledon fan. His support for them goes back a long time to before the new club was formed and he goes to all home games and some away ones no matter what the weather is like. I realised that his knowledge of what English football is about came from him knowing lower league football well, but also he could talk about teams throughout all divisions. He can look up and see what is going on, something I suspect some fans from PL clubs would not be able to do if you asked them about Wimbledon.
We are used to living in the colder temperatures. Just put big coats on when the temperature goes too low. I am interested to know how all the Ãslendingur will cope with brazils temperatures next summer if we reach there. The south will be warm for us even in their winter but if we have to play in the north there will be trouble! I suffered there last year on my trip.
Thanks for the latte Ak - out office aircon seems to have jammed on 'freezing' - some people sitting here in their coats - ironically it's sunny outside - suspect it's actually warmer outside1
Afternoon all from a bright and breezy West West London...had a very busy morning and just had a chance to check the WEB...
Wow Js ... you have to be pretty well stoned if you can't get the bottle to your mouth ... take it easy there bro' ...
"People who don't drink are afraid of revealing themselves." I know some people who are not affraid to reveal themselves without a drink. The lögrelan look at them very badly and the judges as well.
I feel sorry for those who don't drink, when they wake up in the morning it's the best they are going to feel all day. Thanks for the coffee Ak.
FF, I'm epileptic and have 3 different types of tablet because of it. w_y, I'm near the limit on one of my tablets, at the limit on another, and I've no idea what the limit is on the 3rd. As I've gone more than a year without a fit, they're not going to change which tablets I have to take and after my next appointment in November my medication may be reduced slightly.
I wish for you Jsy your medications are reduced as taking things is not good, but only if your doctors think there is value for you in a reduction.
I was being a bit flippant Jersey, no offence intended as I was aware of your epilepsy...hope all gets better in your Nov check-up.
evening all. so sorry i've been so absent..i've been poorly since last tuesday and today finally showed the first signs of recovery...it could be a while til i'm back up and running but i need to get running soon, as the run is only 6 weeks away! I definitely won't be working tomorrow, and will probably be missing the match ...gutted...but i've booked for Barnsley so hopefully i'll be fit by Saturday! I'm hoping to be back working by Thursday. i can't remember being this poorly but thankfully i know there's an end in sight, so all is well . And how is everyone? Disappointed about Saturday still? i am!
