Morning all from a much cooler and damp bandit country - small shower whilst I was in Tesco. Following from OFH's Christmas menu - Mince Pies on sale in Tesco this morning!
Thank youy for the caramel latte Ak, much appreciated! w_y, we have mince pies on sale in Marks & Spencer's, much posher don't you think?
Le Clerc sell Mr Kipling mince pies in December. Only available on the 'English' shelves at silly prices. We have had a couple of showers, just about enough to lay the dust, but like you there is a fresher feel to the air today.
Morning all After three glorious days at the cricket it's grey and damp this morning. Just gathered 3 pounds of plums off the tree so it's some jam making this afternoon and then some home made ravioli.
So the jury were not able to say if Darius had been a naughty boy or not. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/ne...n_trial__Jury_fails_to_reach_verdict/ref=twt/ When he was at Watford there was little doubt that he could rough people up a bit on the playing field judging by the number of cards he picked up.
I had a nice letter from our Government today, not the normal money demanding letter - it was happily confirming that my retirement age will be 66. Many thanks for that chaps..
You're going to another country to do overtime?? Tescos up here sell them all year round. Their contribution to a Healthy Scotland I suppose.
"and The Hampden crowd roars in collective approval as Ikechi Anya takes on his man and speeds away down the left flank. His cross is met by Shaun Maloney on the stretch and the ball flops on to the roof of the net, with Belgian keeper Thibaut Courtois perplexed." Makes you feel kind of proud....
I bet that half the crowd don't know where Watford is, let alone who Ikechi Anya is. What a great story he has.
