Morning all from a bright and warm bandit country - just having some breakfast before heading off to the station to get the train(s) to Reading. I rather over indulged in the pub last night and hanging a bit this morning, but a couple of cans on the train and I will be fighting fit again!
Big day for Little Miss W_Y today, BT Sport go live with their Prem coverage...she left at 06.00 this morning!

Good luck to all going to the game. Am gutted that I have to work all day. Still, John Marks will keep me company. Am excited about this game as I think we have a good chance to win it. Previous seasons, except last year, I would have expected a Norway result ( nil points ! ) but this year I am so optimistic that there is a good chance of a win and will be disappointed if we don't get anything. How times change.

I expect goals and surely at least a draw.... mind you Reading will be a real test....and our defence needs to be tighter for this one

A former colleague of mine put on Facebook yesterday "Football starts tomorrow Yippeeeeee". I almost replied that the most competitive and unpredictable league in the world started 2 weeks ago but thought better of it.

On the glasses, I have to have 2 different pairs - one for distance (normal wear) and one for close work (computers etc). I can't have bifocals as one of the pairs, I forget which, has to have a slight prism to the lenses. I used to go to Vision Express, but there were a husband and wife who worked there, the husband an optician, the wife in the shop part who left to set up independently and I go there. They're reasonably priced including a free eye test for one of the boys earlier this year and they always greet me as a friend.

Currently got T20 Finals day on the telly.

Really looking forward to today's game. I've just got in so i hope i wake up in time. The evening was good. Went to a quiz where we won some rather good prizes which will be birthday presents for the children in about 6 weeks.

Liverpool keeper makes a double save from a penalty and the crowd/commentators go mad.

Anyone would think his name was Almunia. :)

Watched Liverpool game via BT Sport. Not a bad game but not, as Owen et al would have us believe, "great" or "tremendous".

Hampshire have made a poor start but they do bat way down.

Evening all from bandit country - very happy bunny after a great recovery. Very interesting to see some of the new signings for the first time - Fabbroni was very impressive. Going to be an exciting season...

The hype around premier league games by the commentators is ridiculous Theo. The most boring games are made to sound like a rerun of the Matthews cup final <doh>

Wow. What a day!!!! I am physically and mentally exhausted! Watford really put me through the wringer, so many twists and turns. Then tonight the wrestling was one of the most exciting rollercoaster shows I have ever seen. Plenty of chanting and some amazing memories and moments.

Evening all, guess it is much later for those in the UK.

Been a really good start to the season. Unbeaten in 4 and 3 wins.

Help yourself, not as a shot, this is a fine Tequila, sip it slowly. Enjoy the weekend all:
