good idea...and if you're like me, you could lose yourself quite easily in Candy Crush and miss your appointment lol
Im glad you are happy mate. Its been a pleasure to have you on here. Do you get a loyalty card after so many visits and money off future visits? They could name a new wing after you haha.
I think my name has been added to the staff outings list! Seriously Dan, you and H should be very proud of your Watford family on here! They are a terrific bunch of people, knowledgeable and polite even when disagreeing with each other! I'd like to thank you all for making me feel so welcome on here, it really is a home from home!
I am very proud of the guys and gals here. We may not always see eye to eye, but we will always have our love for Watford in our hearts.
Cheers mate. Yeah, I mentioned it to the nurse when I went it and she hid the needle so I I didn't see it. And she just spoke to me to calm me and went ahead with it with out warning which was a godsend.
Good afternoon All ... Well done ak ... I am diabetic too.... but luckily type 2 so no injecting.. ... all best with your result BHD Just got back from a day trip to Belfast..... only 45 minutes from Leeds and cheaper than getting a train to London.... I am doing some voluntary work supporting a manager at a charity and I will be going over a few times.... lovely weather....
Afternoon all from a muggy bandit country - been a mad day with work and just got freed up....where to start? OK - football continues it progress to the mad house. Stuart Pearce gets the sack for not having any decent footballers available and those stupid geordies have appointed Joke Kinnear as some sort of football god - I can just imagine what Pardew will think of having to report to Uncle Joe...... My car has been fixed - luckily I don't have to pay for the new turbo and water pump! The W_Y sons are off to Vegas in the morning with a few mates....they are off to this.. http://electricdaisycarnival.com/photo-gallery.php I just cannot get Hangover out of my mind!
Fancy saying your old when in fact you are still in the second flush of youth. Despite the fact that I was given a tee shirt suggesting age for fathers day, I refuse to give in to it. Strangely enough before I came to live here I had never had a blood test. The first thing charming lady doctor did when I signed on with her, was to send me for one. (This is the lady who informed me that beer does not count towards my intake, but to avoid spirits.) After I was sewn back up last August a needle was stuck in me everyday to stop blood clotting and every week a new blood test was taken to ensure that my blood cell count was not changing greatly. Strange how the injection was no problem, but to watch a needle puncturing the skin is still something I would rather not watch.
It's the worlds biggest rave/dance music festival - over 300,000 people attend the 3 nights. Not my scene, but I am sure they will have fun. # 1 son is going to another on a beach in Croatia at the beginning of July
Anyone seen or heard from Leo recently? I can't recollect him posting since his move back to England.
Morning all. Winter has certainly arrived here. We have severe weather warnings from tonight. Very cold winds bring snow down to sea level are expected. We live at 225m and will probably get snowed in. Little Miss NZ is finding her chickenpox very uncomfortable and I am having to sleep in her room, which means poor sleep. The Earthquake Commission, who are acting a the co-ordinating organisation for insurance companies, have told me to get a builder in for emergency repairs. Ha! Even builders who don't know which end to hold a hammer have more work than they can cope with. In my area 300 houses have to be rebuilt (nearly all the rest have to be repaired). So far 17 rebuilds have started. I believe it is much the same in the rest of the eastern part of the city. The insurance companies claim that everything will be finished by 2016. No-one believes them. Sorry to go on! I still love living here, and listening to some of your health issues makes me feel really lucky.
Hope that you can open this link as there is a great and very honest set of questions and answers here from GT. WML members sent in questions that GT has responded to. Clearly his love of the club still burns as brightly as ever. SEJ, and Baz, should I mention them in the same breathe, are both spoken of. http://wfc.net/files/GT.pdf
