Morning all A bit cloudy here. Had a walk round the lanes...devoting time to newspaper now. A little gentle gardening this afternoon I think, having spent 3 of the last 4 days watching cricket. Happy birthday w-y...hope it's a good one.
Afternoon all from a overcast bandit country - thanks for the birthday greetings. Out with the family this evening for dinner, although little Miss W_Y has gone AWOL in Bournemouth, which usually means she has lost her phone again!
Been a glorious day here with a light wind, fluffy white cloud and a warm sun. The Meteo forecast rain on and off all day, with the chance of storms this afternoon. Are there others, apart from certain football managers, who can be so wrong so often, yet continue to have the people hanging every word that they spout? Strawberries from the garden tonight, but English style cream is not sold here. Ice cream however is very good and provides a good alternative.
Wow, what a great day today. I went Paintballing with the family and loved every minute of it. Even getting hit in the neck, head and elbow. Its such a great experience. I even managed to hit a professional in the head and 4 others in the head!
evening all ...what a busy weekend..when does this life ever slow down?? Anyone got any ideas?! Anyway, up very early tomorrow...being picked up at 6:45 to go to 3 counties radio! They're doing a piece about the singing section at the Vic, so if you get a chance to listen to the breakfast show, tune in, should be a good giggle! Enjoy! I'm off to bed...early night! Night night
Can I have your autograph, and a signed photo please now you're famous You could be my new pin-up. Your photo will replace the one I've got of that girl in the tennis skirt from the 80s Will we have to pay to speak to you now? <checks his piggy bank>
Morning all..... One of my students was one of the main dancers on Bollywood Carmen on BBC3 last night... I think my family got a little annoyed at my " there she is" every couple of minutes... a little overcast here this morning...
Morning all from an overcast Jersey, although the forecast on the website for the harbour says that we won't get rain until about midnight. Having to try a few things to get back a decent amount of sleep to lessen the chance of fits. One of these is reducing the amount of leisure time on computers, whether lunchtime at work or at home in the evenings. If I'm not about for long stretches, you know why. I'll be about more at weekends as I don't have the issue of being on the computer for work.
Morning all from an overcast bandit country - got a round of banks and solicitors to visit this morning.
Morning all from a cloudy rural France. Looks as if we might have some rain today. Need to take a trip to the recycling centre to see if I can refill my two dustbins with some of their compost. 80 litres for €1.50 is a lot cheaper than the bagged up stuff sold in the supermarkets and garden centres and the worms seem to like it.

I have found the compost sold in French supermarkets/garden centres to be very poor compared with what Uk has on offer...
Thanks Ak for the caramel latte, no mention of phone calls for a while, are you still a man of leisure?
Quite right Yorkie, a lot of it is very poor, hardly composted at all. Cheap own brands are to be avoided, but if you just want it as mulch the stuff from the council is quite good.
