Some call it Sod's law and some call it Murphy's law!

Personally, I think it was that sod Murphy!

This is part of the First Law of Government Control. They must hold all the ways you can use to identify who you are. Birth certificate, driving licence, passport, tax number, identity card, death certificate, everything.

Nothing personal guys, but as it is the end of the season I am going to have a break from the board until before the start of next season.

Enjoy the summer all and look forward to the start of next season! <magic>

Not sure what's the best way to recover from yesterday but had a decent go at it. Drove down to NT car park at Port Quin. Surprisingly, given the weather elsewhere, the sun was out and stayed there till mid afternoon. Walked six miles or so along the Cornish coast path before returning to delicious sandwiches made with crab from nearby Port Isaac. Thence to a pub on the edge of Wadebridge named after Admiral John Jarvis and containing a collection of over 200 clocks. A pleasant pint of St Austell Tribute. Now about to sit on the patio overlooking a Cornish valley with tea and a vanilla slice. Still wish we'd won yesterday though...

And why, pray tell, should that be an insult? <whistle>

You'll miss us more than you know when we vote YES next year......... ;)

Better check that my passport is up to date I suppose. :(

I thought that would extract a nibble BB <yikes> - does that mean voting YES means voting to export the jobs to England?

Today has been a good day

Hospital confirmed that there has been no more growth in the cancer. The blood clot might take months to go but apparently it will as Mrs L is now on Heparin injections and her blood tests are all good. TMI for most of you but it makes me happy.

Also booked the removal firm and arranged to pick up the keys in Guildford on Friday

About to book a phone, broadband and telly - and sure it will not take the 7 weeks it took when we came here.

    A happy little Leo

I guess you could look at it that way, some of your jobs will 'go back' - but it means giving us the opportunity to set up our own Government departments too, staffed & run up here by us and for us, rather than having to rely on England or Wales.

Back to the island this evening very tired to find a letter from the hospital telling me that my neurology appointment scheduled for October has been moved to 2 weeks time and instead of seeing the registrar, I'm back to seeing the consultant. Nothing to panic about, just that I saw my GP about 10 days ago and said that I thought that the part of my medication that I can only get through a hospital prescription might be a reason that it's taking me longer to get to sleep at nights. When it first happened, I did think that it might be to do with my move, but that was last month and things should've got back to normal by now.

I've entered the 3k fun run in October that is organised alongside the Jersey Marathon.

Great news Lenny - hope the move goes smoothly and you are settled in Man Utd supporter country quickly.
