Morning all from a very bright and sunny bandit country - weather looks set for a great day out and to turn Wembley into a sea of yellow. No more sleeps. No more talking, today is the day to turn up and do the business...

Thanks for the brew AK. Just what the doctor needed. Am looking forward to watching the game somewhere today.
Well the day has finally dawned and I'm nervous enough to have made three, make that four, typing errors already. I am envious of all the on their way to Wembley, including those I usually go with. Cornwall is lovely but it's not where I'd rather be. Mrs H and friends will be at a Victorian fair while I will I hope be closeted in a football pub somewhere which is not full of CP fans. Please don't ask how such holiday arrangements came about...it's still likely to upset me. It certainly wasn't what we had planned before some late changing of dates had to be accommodated. Anyway, enough of my irritation. All those there, enjoy the day and please give a few extra shouts on my behalf. I shall be with you in spirit and downing a few pints of Doom Bar to try and keep the nerves at bay. COYH............
Thank you for the caramel latte Ak, gutted for you theo and all other hornets that can't get there for whatever reason! I shall be watching online and shouting myself silly for Watford!
Morning all, like Theo I managed to get my holiday arrangements all wrong. Hoping to get to watch via the computer as no bars in this area have anything but French TV and the game seems to be of little importance to them. Took a while to get my WiFi up and running this morning, but now that it is functioning, even if with a very weak signal, I should at least manage to stay loyal to Jon Marks.
I shall be watching on TV, told sky I did not want the sports channels anymore at the end of the season and they said I could have them for the next 4 months for £5 extra per month
I would have been going to Wembley, but unfortunately when I tried to get tickets, I discovered that there had been 34,000 glory hunters in front of me . Despite me protestations and assurances that I had been a regular attendee (?) for the last 2 seasons to the BBC text, radio, ceefax, oracle, and even the 'goals' section in the Sun <hangs head in shame> following Watford, I was told that the glory hunters in the Rookery had snapped them all up. Ah well.. Have a great day all those that are going and us non-hornets are behind you all the way. Hope to see you in the Premier league around teatime today
Know the feeling, chaps, and feel for you. I missed Cardiff and Wembley through being on holiday. Both times in France. For Cardiff we could have come back a day or two earlier, but I just couldn't spoil Mrs GG's hard earned holiday by insisting we did. We got back to Blighty on the day of the match and I listened in the car round the M25. In 1999 I couldn't even find out the score. Nearest I got was in an Irish bar in Perigeux - the landlord 'thought' that Watford had got through to the final and 'thought' that maybe Bolton had won. Ghastly experience. Made better when I came home and saw the highlights. Let the adventure begin!
