Just picked up a copy of the WO - great read this afternoon.

But very disappointed with the club shop and the the lack of PO final merchandise. Very limited PO final specific items and the T shirts look very poor. They sold out of replica shirts weeks ago - they could easily sell 5K shirts in the next week or so. Huge missed opportunity.

The perfect way to end the working day..........the Lancaster Bomber just flew directly over my office!!!! The sound of those engines are always amazing especially at such a low flying height.

I can't begin to tell you all how angry I am - well without turning this thread blue in the extreme - but suffice it to say I hate, loath and detest the Welsh Health Service

Right now I'm in the same frame of mind regarding the Scottish one, Leo. This afternoon, I had some tests done which included a twice-taken ECG - the result of which warranted referral to a doctor - in the same Health Centre. Can't get an appointment until Wednesday so am now left wondering what the hell is wrong. <grr>

Really hope your problem isn't what I think it may be.

No - I am beside myself with anger - on the last scan they happened to miss the fact that Mrs L has developed a blood clot in her heart at the site of her previous heart attack - apparently they weren't looking for it as they were studying the kidney cancer - despite the fact that the medication she is now on is known to have a risk of creating heart problems. F the lot of them.

That's ridiculous Leo, Mrs Sandy had to going into hospital for a small op. Only during it did they realise that it was actually a blood clot the size of a golf ball. Some doctors really are poor. I hope they can help Mrs L properly this time and all will be ok <ok>

Hi Yorkie, good to see you are still here, apologies for night replying but that was sadly out of my hands.

Like you,I was in contact with SLB and was aware of the new job etc,its just strange that he seems to have vanished from all lines of enquiry online.

I will keep on trying and naturally I will ask him to contact you/post on here if I succeed.

All the best and hope all is well with you.

    Hil.

I'll take it that its a wee bit quiet in here on a Friday night so i'll see if I can get time over the weekend to catch a few of the old 606 brigade here.

Meanwhile, how about who can find the worst souvenir for the upcoming final, most horrific wins, look forward to seeing your entries.

    Until then...

    Hil.

    Evening all

Busy day getting ready for my brother's arrival from Australia on Monday. Several family parties planned including a long weekend in Devon. Yesterday he was on the Penang waterfront with temperature of 35 degrees and 120% humidity. Our current weather may come as something of a shock.

Sorry to hear of Health Service issues, Leo and BB. I've seen the best and worst of it in England and hope never to experience the latter again...
