Afternoon all, Tuesday here but the week is moving along nicely. My mum and sister are coming out to visit me soon, over a year since I saw them. Two weeks of work to do a bit of a tour with them, so looking forward to that. We need 3 points tonight, in fact I crave them. See what happens I guess, the Den isn't the easiest of places...
The manager who signs my hours is away and another manager has to sign the sheet. The second manager asked for me to work at the last weekend and is now asking if the time I worked was approved, he should know this was his request, never more I will do this. I think I must leave if the company is to be silly.
I'm sorry everyone is in low spirits, nothing I can say really, I'm off to bed now, let's hope for cheerier times to come! Night all Night H

Morning all from a dull bandit country - WFH today as the car is in the garage! Very disappointed that with all our possession and pressure we could not score last night and against a poor team with very poor support. Good to see H last night, that's twice in less than a week! Hopefully we can push on on Saturday. Thanks for the frothy AK..
Hold you hard there AK old fella. It's not over yet. Last time I looked, only 1 team had been promoted, which leaves two more spaces. Oh ye of little faith. Hang in there. Ta very muchly for the brew as well
It would seem that the teams in the top 6 seem intent on throwing it all away at the moment, never known a season as close as this one.
Good day one and all... very flat with recent results..... our form is so bad result wise..... not looking forward to the playoffs!
Not really - just one point. With that we have 72 and 7th and 8th places can only get to 72 and their goal difference is far worse
Fair enough Leo, was basing it on Leicester being in last play-off position with 64 points and winning all 3 games (doubtful but mathematically possible) = 73 points. That was worst case scenario for us I guess, but with 3 more points we would be on 74 and definitely in the play-offs.
Yes - but Leicester overtaking us would not put us 7th but 6th and still in the play offs - it has to be one of the two sides outside the 6 to displace us - one point for us or one dropped by each of them and we are there.
Afternoon all, Thanks for the coffee Ak glad you got your time sheet signed off okay. I too fear for the promotion as we seemed to have hit a bit of a slump at the wrong time, luckily so have most of the teams in the play-off places. The team I fear most at present is Brighton who seem to be getting over their dip and have put together a few good results recently. Still what ever happens we have had a great season, to think this time last year we were trying to calculate if SD's team could get more points than MM's team the previous year. Still who knows anything could still happen so fingers crossed.
Brighton's last five games are one win and four draws - after their good winning run they too have slumped. There is no "form team" in the top six now. We WILL be in the play offs and it is going to be a lottery unless one of the teams pulls out of their slump
