    Happy birthday, Yorkie...you youngster!

Just off for a tour of the Rose Bowl. Apparently play in a pre-season game was suspended because of snow yesterday. Don't think my daughters were expecting this when they bought me a membership last Christmas...

As you won't know I fancy a bit of historical re-enactment and get the occaisional email from a French company who make historical replica clothing. Anyhow this weeks message contained some photos of new products modelled (I can only assume) by staff, friends and family.

This was one of the photos.

I reckon there are quite a few refs here who would have let this one go!

Can't see why the protest over the red card - what was his excuse -"I was only going for the balls!" ? ;)

The sun is out...a good omen surely.

Much as I hate the 5.20 kick off it does give me a chance to drop in on my new great-neice...eight weeks old now. Nearly time to invest in the Hornet babygrow!

Hope the defence is more Hull than Burnley today and that we keep on knocking in the goals.

and they lost 5-1 - near Newcastle isn't it - and now they cannot even mathematically reach the play offs :) in fact they are bottom of the top half of the table - jokers

Just revisited the BEEB's predictor - not a lot has changed after revising my predictions. Cardiff/Watford still 1/2 - although the points gap is bigger, 93/84.

I can but dream - but truly believe.;)

I don't think too many people have been putting Bolton into the equation, but on current form they could well get into the play offs.

They snuck in in sixth spot for me - behind Hull, Palarse and Brighton.

Morning all from what I think is an overcast island. It's a bit difficult to tell as because when it's cold and then it warms up, with the age of the windows I get condensation on them, which does actually manage to get inside.
