Luton town are staying down, staying down, staying down. Luton town are staying down, same old Luton. Now thats a tune we can all dance to. Even the home fans have started on each other FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!!
Hi All, been away a lot recently. Have only been able to pop in occasionally (glad your news was not worsening Leo lets look forward to an upturn) The only report I've read of Saturday's game was in the Independent on Sunday. Did the crowd really boo Zola off?
I would imagine that any & all booing would have been aimed directly at the totally incompetent referee who effectively cost us the match, not GFZ.
Hi Charlie. Good to see you back. Not that im aware of, I thought most were booing the twerps Ince and the incompetent officials.
No way Chas - we were booing the ref off. Then Ince thought it was directed at him and he started "waving" back. The Vic would never boo GFZ.
Dear All, I got a complimentary copy of The Sunday Independent whilst in Cyprus on Sunday. The Centre fold on the paper was a report on Watford. It went on and on about loan players and then when we lost against Blackpool the crowd turned on Zola and he moaned about the supporters. I will try to find a link
Hyde RETAKE the lead at L*ton! 2-1! Reminder: Before tonight, Hyde had scored 1 goal in their last 6, conceding 16 and losing all 6. #LTFC
Sorry as on my phone can't capture a link. But please do search on the Independent web site and read the Watford Blackpool report. I never realised how much they hated what we have achieved
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ngers-ambushed-by-paul-inces-men-8527880.html I doubt it was this one then - a poorly disguised rant at us rather than a match report. It appears to suggest that the booing was aimed at Ince, at least that it what the plonker himself thought. Some insightful reader comments at the end though...
Thanks BB for looking Oh so sorry Ak for all the coffees I've had and not thanked you for but on the short visits I've had my coffee which always makes me know I'm home.
1-1 .....bye bye Pearson?? Happy with this result. Cardiff have shown clearly how fallible they are and a draw means 2 points lost by each team. I must say that a month or 2 ago I felt Leicester would be the big threat (though I suppose anyone with D Treadwater in their midfield cant be that good!). Cardiff are def running out of steam. They have a good cushion but are starting to feel the heat. Hull have that (annoying) ability to grind out results (how many do they seem to win by the odd goal!) Palarse are erratic but as we found on the Friday night going forward when they are on fire they are difficult to deal with I think we wouldnt be so excited if we all didnt feel that 2nd/1st is a distinct possibility. All I can say is I think it will be v v close. My money is on Cardiff winning the league with your pick of the other 3 teams in 2nd, dependant in the main on who gets the rub of the green with 3-4 points separating all 4 teams at the end of the season! Key for us will be to get back on track quickly this saturday though as seen tonight it will not be easy. Certain players dictate the way we play and I think getting Chalobah and Abdi back asap are key. Would also be nice to see Vydra and Deeney back on the scoresheet as they could do with a goal soon.
An interesting question taken from the Carduff board. "Question is will Malky want promotion, knowing that the reward will be a probable sacking after a short period." Never really thought about it that way, but the person who asked the question doesn't sound that confident about the managers ability.
Couldn't resist this LutonNews_LTFC ‏@LutonNews_LTFC Says something when the 19 fans from Hyde can be heard above any Luton supporters. Taylor off for LRT now. LutonNews_LTFC ‏@LutonNews_LTFC 2-1 Hyde. Slotted away with class. The 19 visiting fans go wild. Town's supporters chanting "this is embarrassing" - don't blame them. Hilarious!
Blimey, BB that article is truly shocking - easily the worst lazy hack journo I have read for at least a couple of days. But the responses were spot on - no wonder the sales of newspapers are plummeting. But the stuff on the tramps made up for it - pure comedy gold
