Bristol City had him on loan for one month - wonder why they did not / could not renew?

I'll stand corrected, but think they lost all their games in that spell, so maybe he wasn't interested?

I've been trying for three years to actually get on the list, never mind change an order, but have had to take my custom elsewhere. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Winter is on it's way out. All afternoon and evening the cranes have been flying north to their summer breeding grounds. We are right under their flight path and the honking and beating of wings alerts you to the fact that they are coming. I think that today several thousand must have been over, stretched out into long 'V' shaped patterns. As the sun has sunk they have been flying at a lower altitude, and you can see just how large each bird is.

Our meteo is forecasting temperatures of 16C by the begining of next week, so feeling hopeful that the night frosts will soon be a thing of the past.

Morning all from a sort of dullish, brightish bandit country....WFH as I have had to do my annual Information Security Training - luckily I went straight to the on-line test and managed to get 88% and passed and thus saving myself 2 hours of PowerPoint hell! Bloody SARBOX...

Morning all, Misty outside this morning but sun will hopefully burn it off.;)

Been reading about a footballer who wanted to play in Portugal, but although he had lived in the country for sixteen years was regarded as foreign because he was born in Spain. The rules stated that only one foreign player could sign for a club, so as the club he wished to join already had their one he was turned down.

He thought that this was against EU law, so sought advice from a committee in Brussels who agreed with him. It seems that you can only put this sort of restriction on players from non-EU countries, so the Portuguese football association had to change the rules.

Thats on of the laws that has helped us with our loans. The FL can try to close the 'loophole' but they have to be mindfull not to restrict the free movement of the players.
