Once again I heard GFZ say that all of our loan players would be signing for us when the season ends. I hope so, because without them and a few others we might not have a team.

    Almunia - Contract ends 30/06/13
    Cassetti - Loan
    Doyley - Contract ends 30/06/13
    Nosworthy - Contract ends 30/06/14
    Anya - Loan
    Abdi - Loan
    Battocchio - Loan
    Chalobah - Loan
    Pudil - Loan
    Deeney - Contract ends 30/06/13
    Vydra - Loan

OFH - I would expect those with their contracts due to expire will be "hot" to sign an extension. Just watching them come off the pitch today!!! - I have never seen such a close knit Watford team since the 80's....As I was boring everyone in the pub and on the train back - it is SO good to be a Watford supporter at the moment

I don't think you are the only one getting excited w_y. Today Jon Marks and Craig Ramage were positively drooling over some of our play. Jon is normally very fair to both sides and one of the best commentators around, but even he was getting carried away with automatic promotion talk. Craig was wishing that he could have played in this team, and just kept on about Chalobah only being 18.

It sounded as if he had a big part in our game today and if only.........

    Morning all,

Rather a frosty start to the day here, but the promise of sunshine and decent warmth. Still very wet under foot down the fields and the local farmers bring mud out onto the roads every time they exit on their tractors. You only have to look at the state of the cars to see who lives in the country or the towns.

Monthly dinner date today with my Forest friend. Think that I will have the sunnier disposition after yesterday. Still feeling good after listening to Jon Marks and Craig Ramage. The pair of them make an excellent team and I would wish for them every week. Craig reckons that the football is so good the Vic should be packed out for all the games until the end of the season. 2,500 at Brum made a heck of a noise. Surely 15,000 ought to be better!

Morning all from a bright & sunny bandit country - sun is nice and warm and burning the frost off!

A bit of a thick head this morning - a combination of beer and red wine and a lingering head cold...but still on cloud 9 after another sublime away performance. Fully agree OFH, lets hope this encourages bigger crowds at The Vic to push the team along.

Juan Mata has just made it Chelsea 1 Brentford 0 Referee 1. Brentford denied a goal after Marcello Trotta put the ball in the net but the official failed to spot and play the advantage from an earlier offence.

At Christmas I got some CDs of old vinyl albums that I had - yes I know for all of you under 60 that CDs are dead too now but I do not have or want an i-pod, i-pad, or i-anything or a 4G phone etc.

While I am typing this I am listening to Meddle by Pink Floyd and just remembering how very very good it is :)

the track now playing is "Fearless" which includes the theme You'll Never Walk Alone" and strangely was one reason I came not to dislike Liverpool as I had lots of the big old Division One teams in that era - I still find Anfield one of my favourite grounds

I think you should get up early and do plenty of training. Get back home and you will be complaining that your fitness level has dropped again.

I think staying away from a computer on Saturday is good for Watford FC. I will do the same on tuesday.

I've Been doing the same for the past few years Lenny - I have 20 - 30 left to catch up. Only problem on some more obscure vinyl, they're just available on CD or download. So will need to use one of these companies that digitise albums...

    evening all :).

Well, what a great day yesterday :)...we were wonderful, the support was amazing, the players did their bit too ;)...can't wait til Tuesday night, just hope we don't do that silly rotation thing! Can someone mention it to Mr Zola ;)

Meanwhile, there is a movement afoot to give us a song..as so many teams have them. We're going for 'Yellow'..obviously. Let's sing it loud and proud on match days...apparently the club are up for it too, so fingers crossed it'll take off...our support at home is weak at the best of times, hopefully this will give it a bit of a lift!

Hi guys and gals. I have a bit of a strange question I need help with. I have been playing in goal for a couple of months now as a bit of fun. I have been using Sondico gloves, but as we are using an indoor ball the foam is beginning to wear, and I will need a new pair soon. So I was wondering if any of you might know where I can get some indoor goalkeeping gloves.
