Bad use of language on my behalf BB. It is still coming down and if I went outside I would get wet. Sent off for some of that healthy red wine. View attachment 20733 Should get me back into prime condition.
My sentiments exactly wy. I was fuming - we get a scrappy bit of time then they go on about our loanees and maybe they wont like the cold then they refer to people who think we are "journeymen" and they shorten the great goal and reluctantly show it again as Watford fans have tweeted for it to be shown in full - and even then their praise is muted. Idiots
An interesting thought or two. http://thegamesgonecrazier.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/vydra-on-fire-as-watford-compete-with.html Love the way he dismisses a number of teams, but back to the loanees again.
crikey...sorry to hear that NZ...hope all is okay. who'd have thunk we'd even be thinking about promotion..let alone...auto! It's so possible though, it's thrilling! utterly shameful it was...expected however. lol. a good article, but really...loanees? Why always with the loanees!
I cannot understand why all the fuss about our loanees. Had the Pozzos simply sold the players to us at their own valuation there would be nothing to stop them selling them back when they so chose - they own both clubs so who could stop them. So it is all just smoke and mirrors. Who says it is cheating at Chelsea Man City Cardiff et al who are backed by foreign millions.
Sod 'em, let them focus on that and we will creep up the table and give the tossers a nasty shock at the end of the season.

Morning all from a snowy bandit country. Decided to WFH today rather than risk the ice-rink of a road outside the Dacha - we have a house-full as Mrs W_Y's school is closed and #2 son is snowed off. Thanks for the frothy AK. I wonder if old red-nose will receive sanctions after his outburst at the lino yesterday. Bringing up that he had made previous "bad" decisions against United..yet the ref had a perfect view of the clear penalty. Of course nothing will be done as he can get away with it!
Morning all... spent yesterday with my mum 91... recovering from a slight stroke..... thank goodness she has retained all her faculties....... we have had a very worrying few days......
Morning All, Glad to hear that your mother is alright Yorkie. Know what it is like to be a distance away at times like that. The snow that we had yesterday has almost completely gone overnight. About 6.00pm yesterday evening a snow plough came round then we had light but steady rain throughout the night and an increase in temperature. Up to 6C now and the sun is out. I did read that the team might not find it that warm in Spain as down south it is only 18C. Looking at the forecast for the coming week in Watford it doesn't look that good. Rather glad that our weather doesn't look too bad, but then they change the forecast three times a day.
Morning all, -2C here in eastern bandit country and plenty of snow with it. Decided to drive in to work and had 2 major scares!!! T-junction at the end of my road has been turned into an ice rink and I slid straight across it. Was half expecting to see the cast of DOI practicing on it as I glided past. Then about a mile from the office I have to venture off of the A1 and found temp traffic lights set up as burst water pipes have flooded the road. Unfortunately its down hill and just before the lights it's sheet ice and a very large 4x4 in front of me. Tried pumping brakes but no effect so finally handbraked it and sent the car sideways. I have to admit that that part was fun and I did manage to control the slide very well and stop before hitting the car in front. Colleague from work was behind me and commented when we got to the office "how the hell did you do that and not hit that car", which I'm taking as a compliment!!! Anyway, I'm in the office. A great result on Saturday and even got a text from my brother who is normally quiet reserved, it simply said "Prem here we come!!" I do find myself getting a little excited when I see us 4 points off of automatic promotion with a game in hand. I'm sure OldNick will bring me back down to earth but right now I'm a very happy hornet!!!
Thanks W_Y... and Frenchie..... At 91 it is to be expected..... but yes it is still very difficult.... I hope she can bounce back for my 60th in April....
Glad she's recovering, Yorkie. My dad had several. He'd be whipped off to hospital and be looking up the bus timetable to get home within a couple of hours and then grumble that he should have been having a canal walk to a decent pub instead of being looked at by doctors.
Fingers crossed.... she is worrying now about not being able to remember things.... I am trying to tell her "if you cant remember.. .no need to worry!"
Thoughts are with you Yorkie at this time. My other half came across this weekend by Eurostar, no real issues getting here the train from the Big smoke was only 30 minutes late into Gloucester. On Saturday night whilst I was at work and because of the weather forecast she checked the Sleasy Jet website for her return flight from Bristol Airport, to find out her flight was cancelled So she began looking at alternates mainly Eurostar, they wanted over £200 for a one way on Sunday afternoon, she found a cheaper ticket for Monday morning the train leaving St Pancras at 0917. Which meant she had get the 0518 from Gloucester, no problem we went to bed last night she set her alarm on her mobile. The alarm went off she got up started her abultions and looked at the time to find out her mobile was still on French time which meant she had got up at 0320 So she went off downstairs and made herself breakfast whilst I had another hour in bed till I had to drive her to the train station, she got St Pancras in plenty time to find out her train had been cancelled but luckily enough an earlier one had space for her so hopefully she is now there in Paris and straight to work in the Embassy, someone is going to be a sleepy bunny later me thinks Luckily she did not book another flight from Bristol today as on the breakfast news all flights to CDG from Bristol have been cancelled again!!!!
Blimey Yorkie, I've not hit 70 yet and I can't remember things! My own name, Mrs H's birthday and our wedding anniversary dates are the things I need soon to write on the back of my hand
morning all...been out working again today...it's all good fun, especially when the road is particularly slippy...thankfully no experiences like yours yet Sandy! Thanks for the caramel latte Ak Yorkie, so sorry to hear your news, worrying times...glad things are looking up and hopefully they'll stay that way a while yet...
