Have to say that sounds remarkably cheap - is he using a reconditioned one or something? You can pick up a new Ferroli with that output for around £900 & the thermostats are around £90 from memory - doesn't leave much for the other bits & pieces, let alone the labour. It should be around a four hour job to install, run and test it & I think heating enineers charge around £45-£50 per hour - and then there's vat on top.

I'd be checking him out if I were you.

Loved the quote from Martin Keogh "Spain are the new Brazil", I don't think so. Spain are a perenial underachiever who struck it lucky at the last World Cup, Brazil generally win trophies when they are good, bad or indifferent.

Just thought I would have a look at the text on Palace & Derby. The first thing I read is:

"The assistant referee signals for offside against Tamas Priskin." <laugh>

Agree with some of that Norway but the Spanish club sides have always done reasonably well.

England up against one of the hosts in their own back yard - difficult. France are rediscovering themselves and Sweden could be up for it, though I think not. Win the group , no. Come second a distinct possibility. I hope the journalists don't get ahead of themselves though.

Norway - Remember those dot-to-dot books the rag n bone men used to leave with a little packet of ****ty crayons? My old mum used to go mad at me as I used to get hold of them and start filling the book in and she had to try and find some old tat to fill the bag up with - that must have started my dislike of QPha supporters!

More to the point, given the very nature of dots, how do you know when one has been turned?

This requires the wisdom of Zen :)
