£62 for a football match is silly, yet people still pay. Don't let anyone know that you think that way though. http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereve...banner-to-arsenal-game-threatened-with-arrest
The cousin of a friend of mine has been an Arsenal fan for over 30 years since he was 9. He is totally obsessive about the team but he also doesn't earn much by London standards. He has the top level of membership card you can have without being a season ticket holder. At the beginning of each season he now picks the 6 games he can afford to go to. For the rest he sits in a pub on the Holloway Road with his transistor radio. For me, this says it all about where the modern game at the top level has lost its way. Every game at the Emirates Mrs H's son tells me there are hospitality attenders in huge numbers on free beer who arrive back at their seats 15 minutes into the second half.
You might like to put this interview into Google translator and see what comes out. I think it might be a smile. http://www.svenskafans.com/england/watford/Intervju-med-Watfords-Joel-Ekstrand-466956.aspx
the loss of Gavroche's song is a travesty to be honest...him singing snippets of it during the film doesn't make up for it...and yes, Barry is right, they took a verse out of the Thenardier's song...and changed lyrics, added hooks, mucked about generally with the music..such a shame, it stood up on it's own, it didn't need fiddling with. I thought Jackman acted the part well...i'd say on the lack of emotion front, Russell Crowe stood out a mile. Trouble is, Mel Gibson is in my favourite film of all time...dilemma! thank you Leonardo...the first of the day was Bernard Mensah..he's a very happy boy! good plan Sandy..though Bernard is a Sunderland fan Ooh i wish i'd known, i'm not using my Crystal Palace tickets! Darn it! Hmm, it's a 12a not a 12 Barry...not sure that would bother me, it's not explicit, i think i'd have dragged Little Miss H along, she came to every 12A because i had older kids. Ah, i didn't know that about Colm Wilkinson, what a voice though..and what a performance. Good to see him pop up in the film. Gotta say, i don't agree with you about the Thenardiers...i saw i the other way around...i didn't think HBC did Mme justice..though SBC was excellent imho. Definitely i think the stage show is going to get numbers up now....everyone wants to go! thank you! Congrats Red .i hope he has a bad start and things pick up in February
Matej Vydra has expressed his desire to stay at Championship side Watford after joining them on loan in the summer from Udinese. The Czech International has bagged an impressive 10 goals in 19 games for the Hornets since his move from Serie A. And now the 20-year-old striker - who went through a turbulent 2011 with knee ligament damage - hopes to remain in England and add to his goal tally at Vicarage Road. He told the website isport.blesk.cz: "After missing most of last year through injury I didn't expect to score so many goals. "But now that I am, I am glad to be here and anything that I add from now on will be a real bonus."I want to play as much as possible and to have plenty of match practice and then we will see what happens next. "I would like to stay here. You really can't compare it with anything else. "Even though Watford it is just the second division, the attendance is 13,000 which you don't even have in the Czech league on all stadiums in one round. "I have two years left on my Udinese contract, but if I could, I would like to stay in England. This style of football suits me. It is fast and full of challenges." Taken from Sky Sports
Morning all from a milder West West London - +1C this morning when I left bandit country. I got a text from Mrs W_Y yesterday at 14.00 telling me the snow in bandit central was terrible and her school was closing and to "leave now"!! So I left at 3, stopped and got some petrol and was home before 4!, hardly any snow anywhere - talk about panic! Let's hope today brings some more good news on the transfer front and we make some of the loan players permanent Watford! H - It's a good film, but would have been improved with that tree not being it it! Thanks in advance for the frothy AK!

Oh wonderful - just to cap our marvelous trip to the hospital in Swansea last week I have just received a notice of intended prosecution for travelling at 36mph in a 30 area. The fact that it was a 6 lane road with a four foot high fence down the middle where you would not expect it to be 30 mph does not of course count as any excuse. F***
i thought he was rather good in it, much as it pains me to say it Hope you get back safely oh bummer! Sorry Leornardo That sucks.
