Evening all, been out on a trip to view goods in the stores before ordering on line.

Yesterday I had an e-mail telling me to put things in the shopping basket on line, then today I would get the actual price taking account of the sale price reductions which started at 25% and would be going up to 75%. Seeing as I was likely to spend €500 even 25% would be a good saving, so I followed the instructions and waited for the grand saving to be announced. Today the price came through with a note to say that what I wanted was not available for the special offers. :(

A bit like Ryanair who advertised flights from Limoges to East Midlands for £19. Filled out some suitable days, and found out that a £38 return turned out to be nearly £100.

evening all, thanks for the caramel latte Ak. Just been with my lovely Bernard, he's such a love :).

w_y, amazing how one set of supporters can treat two managers so differently, just because one came from a rival team. They're being very patient with lambert...for how much longer? no idea, i'm amazed they've stuck with him this long...and i'm sure Norwich are laughing their socks off!

Feeling well rough today, dunno if it is being back at work or man flu, probably a combination of both. Even though it is a 'Mexican' winter most people come down with something here in Jan.

Cheers for the Paloma Ak, think I'll put it in the fridge for Friday !! :)

Does anyone think we can get a good result at Boro? I'd take a draw they are very strong at home...

Morning all from a dry and cold Jersey - much better than the fog we had when I was on my way home from work yesterday. Talking of work, I wonder whether my desk will be decorated when I get in - not if they've stuck to the clear desk policy it won't be! I won't be happy if it isn't decorated as I'd be the first person in the 5 years I've been there who hasn't had that honour on their 40th.

Ak, thanks for the tea (and not just the one for today).

Many happy returns Jersey, hope you have a great day and it is as bright as your desk! <cheers>

Morning all from a colder West West London - 0C this morning and a hint of ice on The Zil when I fired it up! Thanks in advance for the frothy AK.

Good to see our Danny put away that goal last night - very well taken
