Evening all Back from another day up Lunnon...pre-Raphaelites at the Tate and then Arbutus for lunch to celebrate another year married. That's a second dose of culture in a week...
Chelsea will not want GZ and Brendon Rodgers has told the Liverpool Echo not to question his integrity.
Thank you, Leo...that is certainly my hope too. We are now comfortable in front of Masterchef with a glass of pinot noir...
Góðan daginn öll. Cappuccino, coffee, tea donuts and fruit are on the bar. I am late again. With the sun coming later in hte morning I am as well, then I have to stay at work late, go to my bed late and there is a vicious ring. Today we have 4C and can see across the fjörd. The snow is everywhere except the roads and as the sun has not risen we have a blue light. Beautiful.
Busy but enjoyable, Yorkie. Some familiar paintings; some less so...and interesting to see the influence of early Italian art and to see the narrative and symbolism in the earlier pictures. Oh, and the pinot noir was delightful too....oh, and Mrs H is delightful too...so on with another year...
Evening all - a bit of a gale blowing in bandit country. Dropped off Little Miss W_Y at the airport - she is off to Scotland for the week-end. I am going to save the required comments for other forums
Evening all, back home and just about missed the gales in the channel this morning. Rather rough seas off the English south coast, but as we approached Dieppe it became like a mill pond. The flooding around Dorset yesterday was quite something, enough to keep our friends from their regular quiz night. Had some great food and some that was indifferent. Best meal was cooked by a chef who had trained over here and we had quite a chat about the wine that they sold. The bottles I supplied went down a treat, but so they should as I paid €5 a bottle. Need to catch up on my football reading now which hopefully will stop the car lights from shining in my eyes.

Morning all - only half day slaving away for the yankee $ as I am off to Ipswich this afternoon. We are off to see Mumford & Son down there tonight - it's a lads night out, so will be a heavy night. Back tomorrow and then out tomorrow night for a mates 50th birthday in MK....Sunday will be interesting!
David Hockney has pictures of swimming pools? Good news is my tax man wants ÃSK650.000,- less than I thought, perhaps next year he will take the money.
