    Afternoon all

Local TV news has just announced there are 6 candidates to become our county police commissioner...one of them an ex-MP with some doubts expressed about his personal expenses while at Westminster. I can't see the Village Hall, our polling centre, bursting at the seams on the day of the election.

Sadly, I think that the official spelling of the word should be changed to £oyalty. :(

In terms of managers, you would have to say David Moyes shows loyalty - how many times has he said he has no desire to leave Everton? Although if SAF does retire, that would be tested as I think he'll be one of the front-runners.

Although I would say that Mr Loyalty in football must be Dario Gradi at Crewe. I know he's not manager anymore, but hasn't he got some sort of role at the club still?

My candidates include a leading light in the EDL - with that nazi and the usual party funded candidates, not a lot of choice.

Just trawled the Cardiff boards & spotted a complaint about their version of Hornet Player - mostly no commentary. Unbelievably, one poster claimed he couldn't put up with listening to JM any longer!

Have to say that given the choice of listening to theirs or shooting myself in both ears, I'd be tempted to go for the latter - he was truly awful.

Doom Bar is a lovely pint. Have you tried Betty Stoggs from Truro's Skinners brewery. I also like their Piran Ale and Cornish Knocker, but found their Ginger Tosser a bit hoppy for me.

Good day all, bright and sunny here. Managed to get a trainer on today, so going for a little walk.

Still feeling hard done by from last night. People at the ground suggest the ref who was in charge of his first championship game really was not having a good game. The penalty might not have been given in another match, the sending off might have been a case of them both getting sent off and the second yellow should have been a warning that he would get an early bath if he did that again.

Still too late to do anything now, but GFZ does need to stop all of these cards or the team will get a dirty tag, which I don't think they are, and refs will have their judgement clouded before a game even starts.
