Afternoon all, cloudy and sunny in equal measure today, but it is certainly warm. Spent a morning down the far end of the estate and need re-hydrating. <ale> seeing as it is past midday I think.

Trying to find some news, but everything seems quiet now. The Tommy Smith rumours from a week ago seem to have gone missing of late.

Afternoon all from Bristol, well not much rumours going around at all, keep seeing things about Sam Baldock but nothing concrete. I will have to have look round the Bristol City boards to see if they say anything about Baldock.

A gold medal for GBR in what the French call Ball Trap.

    Not a pretty picture. <yikes>

A gold and silver now in the white water canoeing. ;)

The French are in tears as they really thought that they were in with a great chance according to the press out here.

I just had a text from Little Miss W_Y - they have even put stickers over the names of the makers of the toilet role holders in the bogs at Lords so that they do not promote a non-sponsor company. She is taking great delight in picking the stickers off - power to the little people!

I don't understand how vandalising somebody else's property gives power. Can you explain for me please.

Thanks to Watford FC for bringing an academy side to @stalbanscityfc last night and to Gianfranco Zola for attending and being so gracious

He had a hard act to follow, but seems to be putting his best foot forward.

I have the new official website and cannot say that I am unhappy with the pictures surrounding it. ;)

It doesn't look any different to me - or maybe it still hasn't flushed through to Scotland. :(

I think it's gone across the Channel by Eurostar as I can't get it either.

It has gone further south than that. I've got it. Maybe they think I need something to take my mind off a 3-0 defeat to Brazil. Losing to them! Sack Neil Emblen.

Not surprising really - you're almost a day ahead of us. <whistle>

Neil Emblen - is that he of Wolverhampton Wanderers fame?

That's the one. Wolves coudn't beat Brazil either so I suppose I shouldn't expect anything better.

<laugh> Don't worry, although it looks pretty it is very out of date. They have simply put the old stuff into the new format.
