Morning all Sun and some fluffy white cloud here. A bit of grass-cutting later after checking the home-made cake and jam at the school fete...
Morning all - Cloudy & sunny day in bandit country. Hanging a bit this morning, we went to a Motown night in a pub near bandit central last night - brilliant night and over 1,000 old hits there! Busy week-end ahead, we have a 40th birthday party tonight and the sons, daughter, me and a few mates are off to The Oval tomorrow for the ODI against the Crims... I can't understand the calls to boycott The Lion - this is our pub and I don't care who owns it, but we need a proper home pub. Right off to prepare lunch - we have a family meeting to plan our forthcoming family holiday...should be a laugh! Laters..
Hi guys and gals. A bit of bad news im afraid. I have been kicked out of the house today and am going to move in with Dad for a while. So this will be my last post for a while, until i get internet access down there. So until then I wish you all the best and COME ON YOU 'ORNS!!!!!
Sorry to hear that Dan - must be a bit stressful for you. Hope things settle down quickly and you get back on the internet soon - we will miss you.
Blimey, Dan - what heinous crime did you commit for that to happen? Hope the move goes well/works out well. Still on twitter I suppose?
Slow news day then Went into Watford today, clothes shopping for my soon to be 15 year old son Afterwards we took a drive down to the Vic, just to have a look at the grass. It's looking good I have a taken a photo of the pitch with my Ipod touch, just got to work out how to upload it from there to this site!
If I remember correctly, so have you - Mark Ashton. I fear for your club's financial future with him there.
I'm not worried, besides Steve Lansdown still the majority shareholder and everything has to go through him first
I remember one of the Williams sisters getting distracted after being told mid-match to go to the locker room to change from red to white underwear, but I've never heard of a man jeopardising a grand slam match because he was unable to keep his balls in his shorts.
There are reports tonight that Tony Coton has suffered a heart attack. I am sure that all those fans who remember him will wish him well.
i was in Watford this afternoon with Miss Hornette, buying the last bits for her big trip to Israel...she'll be gone a month, touring with a youth organisation..it's going to be an amazing trip! (which is totally off topic, coz i just wanted to say i was in Watford too! lol) Nope, still very British lol I've heard that too, i hope he has a speedy recovery
Morning all - just on the way to the station on route to the cricket. Looks like the weather is going to be perfect for it.....Laters
Morning all (evening NZ) from a cloudy Jersey. My 14yo wasn't out of bed until the afternoon yesterday but was up at 10 to seven this morning. Hope this erratic behaviour is purely to do with him being ill on Friday - nothing major, but enough for his mum to decide that he shouldn't go to school.
