With the fixtures out in a few hours who do you want when? I'd like Blackburn at home first up as I think as a club they're a bit of mess, the Brighton away game on a Saturday and at least one game against a relatively local team over Christmas. Although they were at home, Cardiff and Donny weren't exactly what I wanted from the games while I was over at Christmas.

We don't want Brighton at home first game as they get a lot of practice in on sand. ;)

apparently we've requested our first game of the season be an away game..i didn't think we could do that! I suppose it's because of the pitch?

Even if LDs testimonial wasn't happening, I would've though that being at home to Wycombe in the League Cup would've made that request look ridiculous. If I remember correctly from seeing an article about how the fixtures are compiled, the request has to be put in at the end of the previous season. As well as the club, the police can put in a request if there is something that's happening that would take their resources away from being able to police the game.

oh good point, with a couple of games before that one, it does make the request seem pretty daft! lol

The WO forum takes some believing. Since the news about Baz selling they have started getting at each others throats again. <yikes>

Morning all, dry but some cloud about and a comfortable working temperature outside.;)

So we have the fixtures, and the start to the season does look tricky. I wonder if we will get any reaction on the official site about the changing story that emerged yesterday?

I will have some coffee now then off to the far field as some tree surgery is required. Have a good day.;)

I hate when I have a manager on my shoulder and he wants things now. That is the time for my computer to get lost in its programs. At least he has gone now.

Morning all, still overcast here with dark threatening clouds.

    Thanks for the Coffee Ak,

I know what you mean about Managers hanging over your shoulder, that is when your brain fails to communicate with your fingers. I guessed he had gone by the posting - or is he a Watford supporter and follower of not606

    Morning all

Very grey here. Still no phone, no DVD player, a leaking tap in the kitchen, a small roof leak in the utility room...only thing that's still working is my appetite...must be time for lunch!

I do not think the manager is a Watford supporter.
