We have a dark day with 4C and lots of clouds. I think there could be rain later.

Afternoon all - just back from The Cotswolds, we stayed in an Inn in a tiny little village. Yesterday they had a proper street party and then a dog show - we sat outside the Inn in the sunshine and had a great afternoon watching the festivities and chatting with the locals.

I found it hard to decide which hat to wear today - the Akubra or the Wee Jimmy. I guess it didn't really matter in the end! ;)

Evening all, thanks for the coffee ak, I will put it in the microwave to heat it up. Missed out this morning as I had to show my face at the French lesson and after a four week break it was not fun.:(

This afternoon more foreign language as Bruno who sold me and services my car wanted to have a chat. He had been avidly watching all of the jubilee coverage that has been shown on French TV. " You are very lucky to have someone as head of state who is not there for their own gain" he stated. After the recent election to decide who that should be here,I was able to see what he was talking about.

Still no aircon, the expensive piece of kit that they have broke down while trying to put my details into it. Surely it understands English even if it is German.;)

I'm a footballer and I can do what I like.

    Well, no you can't.

I applaud Theodore Whitmore, the manager of the Jamaican team, for doing that. Players should know they have responsibilities to their teams, especially when the teams they are representing are their countries.

Morning all from a rather overcast West West London - nice short week this week as I have a half day off on Friday, so just 2 days of driving (and it's half term so quieter on the roads).
Mrs W_Y is taking Little Miss W_Y back to Uni today as she has her Uni Summer Ball at the week-end - so please keep clear of the M25 and M3 this morning. 2 of the poorest navigators and with no sense of direction between them, there will be chaos on the roads!

I hope you are all revived from celebrating sixty years of the Queen. Could you imagine a new person every four or five years? President Blair or Brown who would not go or Cameron. To see a Royal Palace is special, like Norway, Sweden or Danmörk but another Presidential Palace, we have one in Reykjavík but the one in Paris is good.

Anyway soon is our national day.

Thanks for the coffee ak. I am hoping to get on a bit with some of my projects down the far field, weather permitting. Very warm, but clouds keep rushing across the sky and blotting out the sun. It must be windy at high level.

morning all! Can't quite get myself back into gear today (pardon the pun!)...but thankfully i'm working later rather than earlier so i have a bit of revving up time. Thanks for the caramel latte Ak :)

I seem to have a twinge in my back which means no exercise today..gutted :(..might treat myself to a walk later...just to keep moving. It's such a sedentary job, i could get so unfit and even fatter if i allowed myself to!

    Thanks for the coffee Ak.

Everything around here comes with an added dog show, and the owners take it all so seriously. Shoot me down here but a dog is a dog and a good dog is a working dog. All those toy dogs, give me strength, and my boss has something that resembles a hairy rat on stilts.

I'm not a dog person as you might tell; and I don't like cats either, mess up my garden they do.
