Morning all, moved into summer mode now, trying to get as much done before mid-day as possible, then a break until 4.00pm when it may have cooled down a little.;)

Yesterday evening I discovered that one of my water butts was leaking, so had to transfer the 300 litres of water gratefully collected into another container. <yikes> This morning I will attempt to repair the leak in case we should get some rain later.

It doesn't take long after a holiday to realise that the body has been at rest, as I now have some bits complaining that I forgot belonged to me.:(

Walked 12/13 miles yesterday...up hill and down dale. Weets Top, Gordale Scar, Janet's Foss, Malham Cove...fantastic scenery all the way and a pint of draught Old Peculiar at the end. Not bad for an old git... <cheers>

Sounds lovely Theo. The scenery that has taken my attention this morning was the inside of a water butt. :(

I was amazed however to find as I later attacked part of my jungle, that a rhododendron plant that I thought had been killed off in the cold weather was in full flower for the first time since I planted it four years ago.;)

As a matter of interest, Frenchie, what did you use to repar your water butt and was it difficult to do?

Waterproof silicone glue and plumbers tape. Not that difficult once you have emptied out all of the remaining water, laid it on it's side and crawled inside. Probably cheaper to get a new one if you don't have the materials to hand.

Cheers, Frenchie. I found an extra one in the garage but it has a small split near the tap. We have 4 big ones already in use so I'll leave it where it is for the time being...

    I have a bad day.

Frú Ak had to be rescued from a hole in her car tyre.
Little Aks school bus did not come.
    The national team lost again.
My computer gave up and stopped, it works now.

Our boys must be going up the FIFA rank as they are still losing every time but to better national teams by smaller results.

I have been asked by a friend to put in a good word for him to Hornette_TID. I think he is all cyber-luurved up as Little Ak would tell me.

You were probably out of range of BBC TV ak.

Could you explain what "cyber-luurved" means to someone who is not into such things? I assume that it is decent.;)

All luurved up is when someone is sweet on someone else and cyber-luurved up is the same but on computers
