I see that Chelsea have issued an apology about the behaviour of some of their supporters who were unable to keep quiet for a whole minute. Just what is it with some people, probably a small number, who think that they can behave as they want and ignore other peoples sense of fair play?
I trust that an apology is not thought to be good enough. I am never too sure how a club is supposed to control their fans, but this is bringing the game into disrepute.
i can't see how they can do much more, though in an ideal world, those fans wouldn't be allowed to go to at least away games again. There are many things that are currently bringing the game into disrepute...it's very sad to see the way it's going. Respect in all areas is going out the window...

I think the standard (or lack of) is also bringing the game into disrepute ,it seems real reffing howlers are being committed each weekend , even the supposed best refs in the EPL are struggling . The question is are they getting worse, is the system ie the rules flawed? Is the refereeing education to a high enough standard?
