Nope - its lovely here - sunny and 8º - been into town with daughter and granddaughter who arrived yesterday for Easter - leaving a fairly disgruntled son who also came home yesterday revising for his finals which start in a week or two
Currently at work - afterwards will be going to straight to Jersey Airport. Not sure if I'll be on a computer before the game tomorrow, so have a Happy Easter one and all. Hopefully one where we end up with six more points.
Have a good trip Barry. I will clattering on my keys tomorrow, but will miss out on Monday unless I get to Dieppe very early.
I remember once about 30 years ago we arrived at Jersey Airport for a long Weekend stay at the Aberfeldy Hotel, we were meant to be picked up by the hotel transport. We arrived on the last flight into Jersey that evening and was standing outside the airport awaiting out transport. There was four of us out side and each couple had their luggage on an airport trolley. An airport employee came out and asked why we were waiting, we explained the situation and went back into the airport. A short while later he returned and said he had spoken to the hotel, they were extremely sorry as they thought transport had been arranged and was sending a vehicle now. We thanked the man for what he had done, he then asked if we wouldn't mind taking our luggage off of the trollies he had to take them back into the Airport as he had to close the Airport. We obliged and he disappeared with the trollies, locked the doors and a short while later all the lights inside the Airport went out. Mind you it was late 9.30pm infact. But what a lovely Island
Gnome or Away for Easter, legless or sober, I would never poke fun at those vertically challenged - straight up.
Yes, happy Easter to all. Flight to Toulon in the morning so won't be on here over the weekend. Will check my phone when I can for the scores! Have a good one...
IMO - all four of those mentioned teams are 'in trouble' at the moment due to form slumps. Which is why I think we could be involved in a three-way tussle with Brighton & Blackpool for the last two play-off spots - West Ham and Brum are too far in front I'd say. If we win tomorrow - a big ask - then nerves will be jangling in both Brighton and Blackpool. I quite fancy us to finish sixth & then roll over West Ham but I think that's as far as we'd get. A nice dream to have anyway - a far cry from the dreams of earlier this season when 15th spot seemed an unscalable height.
Worth remembering that 15th would still be a wild success even if we do a Malky and fade away in last 6 games ! My dad asked me would you accept losing tomorrow to guarantee winning on monday , tough one that
Only if Carduff were guaranteed to lose to Boro on Saturday as well But the best result for us in that one would be a draw.
just want Cardiff to end up below us...and a playoff place would be rather lovely too lol. MM is beginning to get some bad publicity...can't say i'm not enjoying that
