    Found this on FB:

    This happened on TAM airlines.

A 50-something year old white woman arrived at her seat and saw that the passenger next to her was a black man. Visibly furious, she called the air hostess.

"What's the problem, ma?" the hostess asked her
"Can't you see?" the lady said - "I was given a seat next to a black man. I can't seat here next to him. You have to change my seat"

    - "Please, calm down, ma" - said the hostess
"Unfortunately, all the seats are occupied, but I'm still going to check if we have any."

The hostess left and returned some minutes later.

"Madam, as I told you, there isn't any empty seat in this class- economy class.
But I spoke to the captain and he confirmed that there isn't any empty seats in the economy class. We only have seats in the first class."

And before the woman said anything, the hostess continued

"Look, it is unusual for our company to allow a passenger from the economy class change to the first class.
However, given the circumstances, the commandant thinks that it would be a scandal to make a passenger travel sat next to an unpleasant person."

And turning to the black man, the hostess said:

"Which means, Sir, if you would be so nice to pack your handbag, we have reserved you a seat in the first class..."

And all the passengers nearby, who were shocked to see the scene started applauding, some standing on their feet."

"LIKE" AND "SHARE" IF YOU ARE AGAINST RACISM.

Can you believe it? The forecast snow has arrived and is rapidly covering everything.

The one week that I have done my homework properly and on time I may not get to my lesson if this keeps on all night. <yikes>

Well that was a dull day. I have managed to get the last part of Kiri's Valentines present but am currently awaiting the photo which her mum is getting printed for me in the next few days.

Weather wise its been a cold one with a lot of cloud and a little sleet at the end of the day.

    Evening all

Just put the Hairy Bikers' version of Lancashire Hot Pot in the oven. As well as lamb, it has lambs' kidneys and black pudding in it....very, very tasty. That only leaves the tough decision of what to drink with it. A glass or two of Merlot or a bottle of Black Sheep maybe? What do you think, Nesters?

With something as heart warming a strong flavours Theo I would go for a bottle of Zinfandel..robust and full bodied with a spicy after taste, one of my favourites..

No TV here tonight. The snow that is falling from the sky is blocking out the satellite signal. :(

Shouldn't have watched TV tonight... I need something lighthearted and uplifting to watch now.

Just saw "Protecting Our Children", a documentary about social workers in Bristol. Such a sad sad programme. The horrible truth is some people just aren't capable of being parents and it's the hard work of the social worker to prove it. I think some people forget that social workers don't have the power to take child, only a judge can do that, and they do give the parents every opportunity to prove they are caring for their child. They just aren't able to. A happy-ish ending that brought a tear to my eye though, the little boy was visibly happier after 3 months in foster care. And the mother, having split from the father, decided that her new born baby and son should be adopted. Unfortunately, they have been separated and the little boy still hasn't found a family.

So, can anyone recommend a good film that will cheer me up?!

I saw Warhorse at the weekend, now that is a good film, but not uplifting, tissues were required for an outbreak of allergies. Well that is what I am sticking to anyway;)
