very disappointing comments on SSN, makes you wonder if they realised Watford were playing!

That idiot Anderton, was bleating about how poor Surs were, no mention about how Watford outplayed them<grr>

Morning all from an overcast and cold Jersey. Was very proud of the guys last night, be interesting to see what my colleague who supports West Ham thinks of us stopping Scott Parker playing as he keeps going on about SP. Must admit I was a bit worried when I saw the team before the game and Hogg was still out. I would like to see Sean Murray play on Tuesday night as I feel he earned that right with last night's display. Assuming that Yeates returns, it would probably mean that Garner would have to be dropped.

As an aside, who at the FA/FL decided that there would be a full programme of fixtures right at the end of the transfer window?

I think I'd have to start doubting SD if Murray doesn't get game time against Millwall. He most certainly earned that right - but I doubt he'd last a full match against their, shall we say, more basic players! Half a game at least I reckon.

Sincerely hope that Garner isn't dropped as he did his bit too last night - am sure he didn't just play to be in the shop window & he adds that bit of bustle in the middle that's missing when CI is playing.

Absolutely agree that Murray must get game time. Wasn't sure about Garner but he certainly has pace. Master H thought he was half responsible for the goal but i'd have to see it again to know why...

Anyway, morning all! :)...still buzzing from last night, but gutted we couldn't score. Busy day of housey stuff today...IKEA, followed by B&Q, and a carpet shop...one bedroom takes a lot of running around! And i have to fix the shower in the bathroom after Mr H's failed attempts at DIY, bless.

I can't do IKEA without Little Miss H who's bedroom it is, coz she has to choose her desk...but she's still in bed..last night's match seems to have worn her out..i wonder if she has a voice this morning!

Hmm, might run to B&Q while i'm waiting for the sleepy head.

i'll ponder that while i drink coffee lol

7C and a south wind. All the roads in the town are clean of snow so that is good.

I see comments about the football and most are Spurs played badly not they were outplayed. Does England have football for the journalists which is not the Premiership anymore?

Morning all - feeling a little deflated after last night. What a huge opportunity to create another one of those classic nights at The Vic! For years Little Miss W_Y has heard of the stories of us against Forest and Soton and last night we should have added Spurs to that list.

One good thing, we won't have to put up with their div's on the match threads now - what a bunch of cretins and I am very proud that I did not bite.

Very brave of SD last night and I hope and pray that he stays brave for the rest of the season - I bet a certain person in Norway has a smile on his face!

A day of catching up on some work whilst Mrs W_Y is visiting her mum at the hospital. Also keeping an eye out on the creatures in the kitchen - we are Tortoise sitting my mates little girl Tortoise whilst they are in Jamaica and Mrs W_Y little boy Tortoise has not noticed yet he has a new friend wandering about! I don't want them fighting or getting up to any hanky-panky.

    Morning all

Late rising this morning after a midnight return from the Vic. Great night though...a fine performance all round which deserved a better result. Hats off to SD - Garner and Murray more than worth their places, Eustace magnificent, Mariappa a Premiership player, and improved shows from Hodson, Doyley Sordell and Loach, despite the questions about the goal.

Heh heh heh - after my apparently unacceptable verbal sparring with a couple of spuds fans on last night's match thread, I thought that I had better maintain an aloof and dignified manner on this bit of news.

    But what the heck!

    72 all out - <rofl> <rofl>

Which county does that last in batsman Extras play for? Third top scorer with 9, surely he should be higher up the order? <rofl> <rofl>

What's that old saying in sport - you're only as good as your last game? <laugh> <laugh>
