After watching the Spurs game, hopefully Harry will rest some key players, mainly his first eleven Doyley simply must play against Spurs, far better defensively than young Hodson! Spurs just have so much pace it's frightening but if they play their kids we might give them a game!
oh bum Oh dear, that's not good! Never had one, glad i haven't! I agree Al, Doyley should definitely play, especially as he told me he had wanted his Testimonial match to be against Spurs, but now it probably won't be because of the FA Cup game...so he deserves to play for that reason alone! I did think, if spurs got something out of todays game they'd want to concentrate on the league and not the cup, now i'm not sure they won't just make sure they get trough and play a full strength team...oh gawd!
Perhaps Lloyd could have his testimonial match against the filthy one's? - that would be a good "friendly"...
Evening all, family duties completed and I can now catch up. Don't think I will read too much more about yesterdays game though. We were holding them quite well by the sound of things until I had to leave and then it went pear-shaped.
OFH, It was not your fault I think we had an up hill task, especially if Tiny even said we were not expecting to get anything from the game anyway
We should go into every game thinking we can get something from it, not a lesson in how to play either!
Seems as if he is a bit short on inspiration at the moment. Did I hear that Tiny could be out for the rest of the season with his broken toe?
i just wonder when the transfer window will start making a difference to us...ins or outs...we need something to happen!
That is true, but for how long i wonder?? We will have a game in hand which we play on tuesday, and last time at the New Den St John of Eustace lead 11 Watford players out of the Lions Den 1-6 winners!!
