yes it would, but i can imagine the kind of tweets he'd get! lol...very very dull! It's a shame they're not showing the Spurs game!
Half thought I'd been blocked after that NHS comment. City were poor tonight. You can't win the league or league cup in January, but you can lose them.
The last time I know of anyone falling asleep at a match was Jack Sole at Barrow in 1968 - he fell asleep on the terracing for the whole of the first half. Wasn't that the match was boring, though - I think that it was more to do with the 11 pints of Case's Bitter beforehand.
my daughter fell asleep during the first half of her first ever game at the Vic...my dreams and hopes were shattered that day! She's the Little Miss Hornette that doesn't come to matches...!
Me and my brother took my mum once and she fell asleep only to be woken by a Marvin Elliott 20 yard cracker against Stoke. Never again lol
My dad and my uncle, the latter visiting from Oz, both fell asleep on a rare visit to the Vic. Mind you, both were in their 70s and they had downed 4 pints of Old Growler, the guest bitter in the pub that day...
it's a bit worrying now, all these people falling asleep at the Vic, including that woman from St John's Ambulance! lol
Morning ..I took a mate of mine to Barnsley Watford in the 90s and he ended up lying down on the seats reading the paper... I guess I was used to seeing WFC
Morning all! Having a bit of a walk this morning to clear some cobwebs, it's been a while! Not sure where i'll go but i doubt it'll be too long. Back to the exercise next week, i've let it go long enough! Thanks for the coffee Ak, i helped myself to a caramel latte Cute story Yorkie lol
Morning all. I Know what you mean H, I decided to wait until all the Christmas left-overs were gone before thinking about the gym again. Going to start next week and see how my body reacts!!!
