Oh good, the gps has switched back on. My problem seems to be that I don't have France Telecom as my ISP provider. "Quelque Jours" was the first response on the 14th Dec. which anyone living here will tell you means sometime in the future. 20th and it was down to 5 or 6 days, 27th and it became soon. On the 30th they came up with this 3G+ thingy which only works to any degree if I go and sit it the car at the top of the hill. Tomorrow I will be onto them again.
one Miss Hornette already in bed coz she's so overtired, one Miss Hornette playing her new Sims game, so Master Hornette and i are able to watch football in peace, and what a goal! Demba Ba is incredible.
OFH, My good lady in Paris has been having internet issues for almost a month now, especially trying to watch UK tv through VPN. The BBC I-player is not so bad as trying to watch ITV which stops more than it starts very frustrating(comes up with insufficient bandwith), but the interweb went totally on Saturday. I have asked her to speak to her interweb provider to try and get it sorted but as her French is not upto speaking tech she has to rely on her worl colleagues to translate the problem!
My problem Al is the cable to the house. We had strong winds one night and something has come adrift. I now have a neighbour with a far more colourful turn of phrase than I can muster who seems to have taken the case to heart. I look forward to listening to the conversation tomorrow, but she goes so fast I doubt that I will learn much.
apparently i'm supposed to be singing on 14 January, but i have no idea what song to sing! Not sure i can drag out that old faithful lol
