Forecast is for winds almost as bad as those in 1987 - the downpour expected at about 6 came. Looking forward to my department Christmas lunch tomorrow.

Thing that sticks out in my memory where the teams in the old 1st Div when I collected football cards - Huddersfield if my memory serves me well..!!

Other cards I collected - American Civil War and The WW2 cards were as gory as flip....I also collected PG Tip's cards and my nan used to send big piles of them in the post, and they still smelt of tea!

Hmm - Birmigham, Spurs, Fulham, Celtic all out of Europe. Did David Cameron tell them to get out? :)

Evening all. These word games have well and truly taken over lol. They are a pain in the backside!! I keep popping in and out to make sure you are all behaving and only those threads have changed, i keep expecting big news lol.

It was a busy day today, up at 8 to be in uni to meet my tutor and get the work for my dissertation and the help on how to set it out. Then came hope and back to deliver 98 parcels and pick up 5. How is everyone?

I am a little late but you can guess easily who is footballer of the year. It is not difficult.

Kolbeinn Sigþórsson of AFC Ajax was second and Gylfi Þór Sigurðsson TSG 1899 Hoffenheim from third

You not gone to bed yet H, Dan? I'm just popping in after a mammoth kitchen clear up. All cupboard contents have now been moved around to hopefully make things easier. Can't believe it's taken so long though. Will have to catch up on all footie results in the morning.
Nighty night, don't stay up too much longer you kids!!

I had gone to bed, but i could not sleep with out saying good night to H (mummy bear) lol. I remember spending the entire day and half the next one re-arranging my bedroom once. I have no idea why i did it, but it was fun!!

I wont be too long, so long as my book does not get too interesting anytime soon!!

Morning all - Driving Snow and Rain when I let Bandit Country which caused the obligatory 2 smashes on the M1. Buit just rain in West West London and I need to pop into the town to get some essential supplies - I fancy getting a Dundee cake & a Tunis cake from M&S...now that is old fashioned Xmas fayre. Could be a festive thread for us ol' gits - things you remember from Xmas pasts!

Morning all from Paris, the journey across could not have gone smoother except whilst walking to the Metro after getting off the bus, there I was minding my own business in the pouring rain when a bus came along and proceeded to dump a puddle in front of me<laugh>:( luckily there just a few big spots down my jeans most of the water went on my shoes:( Plenty rain during the night and this morning but now it is very grey and overcast. Guess I wont be going far today!

Hope you all have a great day!
