I’m exactly the same! I feel no game has hit the potential so I won’t be upgrading any time soon
Saying the high end one may cost 1.5k

Ive had 2 seriex xs and both CD drives have gone on them within weeks. Not a problem for me as I game online but still at 4bills a pop it's not good enough really

I've never had an Xbox, always Sony and used to game on PC when I was a fair bit younger. Generally always preferred Sony exclusives.

Got a PS5, then a Pro when it came out at about £700 or whatever it was. Performance on all the games I've had on PS5 has always been fine. The Pro looks amazing and takes things up a notch, but again, I don't think anything has really pushed it to the limit yet. Death Stranding 2 looks incredible on it and plays flawlessly, so I wonder how many more bells and whistles we really need when gaming.

With all the horsepower available, of all things, I've been playing Goat Simulator 3 with the lad over the weekend (he's 6). It's brilliantly stupid.

Highlight was when I was trying to find a key in some crates to let a bloke out of the toilet - turned around and the lad had set a petrol station on fire, and was dressed as a massive banana (abominana) and was literally shagging money out of a cash machine.
