Just spent a while downloading some new Starfield mods and started a new game @luvgonzo

Will post the list in a bit but i mainly went for mechanics and gameplay improvements like "improved followers" and better gun menus and perk and skill expansions.

Well it has I suppose, bosses to find, new things to build and more variety with the building and ships and weapons. I think the trick is at the moment to chill and just go find things slowly and bit by bit more variety will be added.

Lack of variety and nothing to find was the big issue.

Few mods that have improved the game for me

Wonderous weightlessness, makes all resources in game weightless. A must have imo

Super vasco, the robot gets all the lodge members skills in one.

Improved followers, they stay closer and fight better, no more waiting for vasco to come through doors or that annoying **** when they stop walking while boosting.

Loads more to add but cba right now

Has the game actually improved though?
The enemy's aren't just bullet sponges now since the update much improved on that front. This has made the missions a little bit more a of a grind which is a good thing imo

60fps has vastly improved the graphics

Add to that a mod that gets rid of the original blueish colour filter the game has and it looks slick af

The amount of Star Wars mods is ridiculous, need some variety but I'm sure that's coming. The game is still the same and not great but the addition of some other things to find and random bosses makes exploring more interesting. ****ing embarrassing though that they have to get the mod community to fix their game.

Seems m to be the way of a lot of new games tbh
Red fall
No mans sky
Fallout 4
all bombed at launch but have vastly improved since.

Personally im not bothered about mods saving Starfield as that was always when the game was really gonna start for me anyways.

Agree about the starwars mods... I aint used any.

Not enough misson based ones yet which is disappointing but its really really early still in terms of modders getting hold of the tools to start making whole planets full of new content. But that will happen im certain.

The scope for what modders can do with this gane is ridiculous and i cant wait to see whats to come from them iver the next year.

At the moment ive just used game improvement mods for graphics, more traits and skills and making resources weightless... **** like that because i dont want to go too far away from the vanilla version on my 1st playthrough.

The future for this game is exciting tho
