Even the small things are long winded, kill 20 guys and I have to watch the loot animation for everyone , which takes 4/5 seconds each time. Its too much imo and that just one example.
The small details are what makes it for me. The story also, starting out in a nice camp living the cowboy life with your mates then it just gets worse and worse each time something goes wrong until your living in a cave and dying of tuberculosis. Bad times.
Ive never played it through all the way, had it since it came out. I play about 5mins before I have to ride across the map for 3hrs and think Nah & turn it off again. I get how it's a great game and all that, also think the movement could have been much more fluid, I find its stiff and clumsy
Ah the joys of strolling around on the open plains wasting the day away, build a little camp and kill a deer for an evening sat by the fire.
Can’t remember ever trading a game in, in my life. I always convince myself I’ll play the game again, but by the time I actually realise that I won’t, they’re worth about 7p.
Days Gone is a great game, best I’ve played on PS4 thus far. Getting stranded with no fuel in the bike and chased by a thousand Freakers is great. Defo better than RDR2.
