No Swordsie mate, I don't get angry when someone says Granero is sh.it if he really is sh.it. And to be honest right now he is sh.it. I'm more puzzled than you mate, believe me. I've seen more of his games than most on this board and I must say he really really rarely was under performing. I would say he was Jamie Mackie of Real Madrid. I don't mean he was the least skillful player in the team but sure was one of the most hard working. Even impressed in his games against Barcelona ( I know some of you think he only played against the easiest opponents) Here's another Mournho's comment on Granero: "Granero is playing because he has great character and a strong personality. He is the sort of player I believe Real Madrid can't afford to lose. He should end his career here. He is a symbol of what Real Madrid embodies and he never lets us down. He is the only player I could be blamed for not using as much as he deserved in the first half of the season" I really hope he stays here and proves his worth. And tbh I don't think he'll want to go unless Harry wanted to ship him out. He already said that he rejected Fiorentina's bid earlier this month. It seems to me he just lost his mojo and has hard time getting it back. But making him scapegoat wont help him sure. For me it's not so much the lack of effort as lack of confidence. When Harry took him out on Saturday he seemed to me like he has lost all hope. I hope Harry can boost him up
LOL just read your comments, glad to hear you are wound up you pr1ck now you know how we feel with all your pseudo-intellectual higher plane bollox you spout. You got it wrong Dave, big time, don't choke on your 5 bird main course or whatever pretentious shi.t you eat. Bah humbug!
Right that's it, all the kids' pressies fished out of their hiding places in the garage, early onset of the flu Mrs Uber and Uber Minor have suffered this past week starting to make itself known in my bones, carrots left out for the reindeer courtesy of Lil' Miss Uber and the Ma Outlaw already cried off tomorrow (today!) with a urinary infection. Merry Xmas to all, and to all a goodnight!
Ãber, just did the same. Last Santa tonight for youngest Pressies out. Wife out (cold). Me? Just over that flu. Nice bouteille of wine in front of me now and, oh foock, just realized George Michael is on de telly. Good craic this evening with the young lad (15) watching Fr Ted Christmas Special.....special! Happy XMas to you too lad!
I think this might be the last year with my girls believing in Santa. ( They are starting to ask too many questions. ) I'm just waiting for another 10 mins until I go up into the loft and fill their stockings with pressies. Christ... It goes too quick. All the best CorkeR my main man, hope you and yours have a great day.
9s, we're too alike at times. Yeah, herself is asking too many Qs as well. This IS the last year, and Jaysus, it HAS gone quick. I'll enjoy the morning trip downstairs. See you in 2013 lad!
Mission accomplished! I've just had to drink half a glass of Whisky, a glass of milk and eat a carrot and a mince pie. I'll look forward to just walking down the stairs and not going through with this pantomime. It was good while it lasted though. It became too much when they started to take cameras to bed to get a picture of the grand man himself in action. I'll look forward to seeing you in the New Year mate. Merry Christmas to the CORKeR's and all the other great people I've had the pleasure to meet on our fabulous board.
Our man will be alright if we can hang onto him - it always takes a while for the cultured players to find their feet (6-12 months) in the Premiership. As long as the guys at the top stay firm then we have a winner. Not sure how Bosnia recognises Christmas but have a fantastic few days - you embody how many of us should feel - calm, reasonable and yet hopeful.
People in Bosnia recognises Christmas ( Bosnia is home of 3 religions) but our Muslim dictator doesn't. I usually don't celebrate it but if we win on Wednesday I will. All the best
A very merry Christmas one and all. And special thoughts for those that aren't at home for Christmas, or who are no longer with us
Just read yours and CORKerR's posts and had me giggling at the way me and Mrs Staines had to take a bite from carrot, mince pie and drink the milk . I won't miss the 4am wake up call from the little darlings to tell us Santa has come and can they get up now....and I still have 4 or 5 years more to of this to go. Anyway hope all are well and I'm back to my house that is a sea of Barbie, Thomas the Tank Engine and Firman Sam !!!
That's his official location for the press, but he's really located deep deep inside Bosnian mountains. I can say nothing more.
