Interesting twist (although it was on BS Central) - someone on there reckoned that Baldock will come to us on loan initially with a view to a permanent move

To be fair this would be a good deal all round Baldock can see how we go through the season, plus we can see how he fits in to the club.

    everybody is a winner.<ok>

I am normally quite supportive of young players but if this is true, he needs to have a word with Stephen Caulker about how good life in is Bristol and take a good long look at his life.

He has no chance of playing regularly for West Ham in the prem whereas he could come here and become an instant star as anyone who can score regularly will become a folk hero after the drought we have experienced over the last 6 years.

He also needs to talk to McDel and listen to him about what he is trying to build here. Last seasons struggles will be a thing of the past, we hit rock bottom and Del has completely cleared out the old staff and has installed his own team. This season will be successful, of that there is absolutely no doubt in my mind and we need young and hungry players like Baldock to drive us on.

So in summary, to elect to stay in London cos your mates are there is an attitude that deserves a good slap. He has to make a choice about does he want to become a successful rising star footballer and advance up the ladder by building his reputation with some like us (like Andy Cole did) or does he want to stay at home and play X-box with his mates.

If its the latter, obscurity beckons mate, its up to you...

Yes I find it hard to say I want to stay in a certain place,if you are serious of climbing the ladder in football you move where the job takes you.

He could become a big hero here if he scored the goals to fire s into the playoffs.
You watch he sign for us out of the blue.
