    FFP is a total joke to be fair.
    City will just sell their toilet sponsorship to a shell UAE firm for £250m... call it income and continue to wreck our beautiful game.

    Yep, I think you may be right. They'll overlook the fans, of course, then as the audiences dwindle the sport will become ever evolving (Fireball, Zero-G Ball) until eventually it's just crap and disappears. They cannot simply keep up the rate of expenditure as the next generation of fans won't have the same loyalty required to pay for ever-increasing tickets and subscriptions. FarmVille has more players than SkySports has subscribers, ffs.

    I think our stat is a bit misleading.

    We have a number of players on high wages, and a number of players on pittance.

    I doubt that there'll be many players on the 26k average
