Put there because the football had already damaged the pitch to such an extent it was due to be repaired anyway. Look at the shape of the patch. Anyway as I say, made no negative difference to the outcome of the game. Or to Watkins injury as some cretin on their board suggested.
Apologies if this has been discussed, but what are the plans for the pitch this summer, the squash courts have made a right mess of it, killed all the grass, I know it will grow again, but there is something fundamentally wrong with it. We don't want it turning into a cow field again in January. Thanks not been on the boards for a few days
It has been discussed at length and I was basically called an insular, backward looking, lacking in ambition **** for saying it would ruin the pitch and we'll all be blaming it come December. I stand by what I said.
Well he was posting all day yesterday so I doubt it. He just stopped posting because he looked a twat and hull were winning
Providing the pitch is fine for next season who gives a flying **** if it affected that poxy minority sport?
Has it destroyed the grass? It looks like they've just removed the turf as opposed to just putting the stage on top of the pitch. Or is it testament to how much damage was done?
You stand by the fact you completely ignored the fact the pitch is being replaced during the large gap in FC's fixture list? They couldn't replace the pitch before that gap as there wouldn't be the time for the new pitch to bed in. Therefore anything extra that happens on the pitch before that break has had absolutely bugger all effect on the state of the pitch for next season.
