Mike Tyson. Just the best I saw and could appreciate. A flawed genius. Achieved much but could have achieved so so so much more :(

Nah, Holyfield owned his ass twice and frustrated the psychotic little rapist.
Holyfield, especially in their first fight, outboxed him completely.
remember it vividly, kept clinching and doing the two hit combos.

It was after he had been in prison, but he was the champ at that point, he beat Frank Bruno for the title, then failed in his first title defence to Holyfield.

On a side note, Frank Bruno lives in my old street.
See him in Morrisons all the time :p

Ah come on, beating Frank was par for the course. I called him flawed, and that he could have achieved much more, bcos by the time he came to fight holyfield he'd pissed away that very talent... and his life.

    Chris Eubank?

He was good, but Steve Collins owned him twice and proved himself far superior.

Tyson of the early 80s was brutally brilliant.
Marvin Hagler was excellent too. his fights with Tommy Herns, sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran were superb fights of the time.
and the early 90s with Nigel Benn, Collins and Eubank was a great time for boxing, free to air on ITV.
Does anyone remember the Benn, Gerald McClellan fight in 91 I think? one of the most brutal fights I've ever seen. a toe to toe slug fest that only one man walked away from.
