Barnes is the ideal player sale.

Someone will make the same error.

Buy this replacement and probably still have a profit over the two transactions.

This is all good, there's at least another good year in Schar and if Krafth is happy to be stand in, I'm happy for him to stay. Dubs has been far better than Pope this season, and yeah bye Wilson.

If we aren't offering Wilson a new deal then surely we'll be looking for a striker in the Summer.

He's a good player, but I won't lie I would be hoping for someone slightly more ambitious.

Reports say that he's just a temporary experienced player before the youth players take over - in particular that Spanish lad that looks like he's signing

Tbh I'm hoping for 2 serious cbs and keeper that is good in all areas.

For midfield I like Wharton at palace.

As is being shown by spurs and Man U, relying on youth would be incredibly stupid.

Wasn’t there a famous quote about Man United on that subject?

    Nah we wouldn't

Newcastle would be willing to let Alexander Isak leave for £83.3m (100m euros) this summer if they fail to qualify for the Champions League, with Barcelona, Liverpool,Arsenal and Chelsea among those keen on the 25-year-old Sweden striker. (Sport - in Spanish

The worst thing about this is how many media outlets have just rolled out this ridiculous story.

I mean, selling Isak is one thing, but the club deciding to not even bother making a profit is an interesting concept.

The price we are willing to accept varies wildly with each story, a week ago it was £150m, now it's only half that. Must be boring just having to sit around making up horseshit all day.

Isak has apparently (bullshit) indicated that he would be interested in joining Liverpool.

    For 90-100m.

As if Isak has any say in the transfer.

    It’s all utter bollocks.

Isak will be with us in 5 years time. I’m certain of that.

Tapping up isn't supposed to happen, but the reality is everyone knows it does happen. These stories are so annoying and probably not true at all though.

Tapping up has been repeatedly confirmed as true by people who would know, ex managers, owners, etc.
