This would depend upon the accuracy of use of the phrase(s) by those using them. An agreement can equal a contract. But if people are not adhering strictly to what a word actually means (which is very common) then they may in reality be describing something technically different. A pact I would say is something different to an ‘agreement’ and/or a ‘contract’ but again if being incorrectly used the person using the word may mean it to be a contract or agreement. Wissa. If there is an agreement or contract agreed to sell him at a particular price in this window then that would be enforceable by him. Obviously, subject to small “print” etc but in general terms Brentford in failing to adhere to any agreed terms would be in breach of contract. As CC alluded to there might be a dispute as to what each party says was agreed. That’s why written contracts/agreements are so much better to have. Isak. Agreement to renegotiate contract. This is so much woolier as all that’s being promised is to renegotiate and does not have any specific terms necessarily. Accordingly, if there have been ‘discussions’ then that commitment will have been met. Also, my recollection is there is reported to have been a discussion but because of other factors it would be revisited at a later date. A contract/agreement needs to have terms that are ‘certain’ to be enforceable. If there are no or insufficient ‘certain’ terms then any contract/agreement could be unenforceable. Edit: legal disclaimer. please bear in mind the above has been typed following consumption over a period of 2 hours of a bottle of wine.
So let's say 2 verbal conversations played out something like this... Wissa: "If a Champions League club come in for me then I'd like to be able to speak with them" Brentford: "Sure, so long as they offer more than £25m" Wissa: "OK deal" Isak: "I'd like to discuss improving my contract terms" NUFC: "Sure, if we win a cup or qualify for champions league then we'll discuss new terms at the end of the season." Isak: "OK deal"
There's a huge difference between what a recruitment set up is/looks like and who/what the recruited are. It's nonsense to you because you're not understanding the difference and not because there's no separation between the two. Mitchell is being proven right at this moment in time and more and more people are taking that angle, but it doesn't mean that outlook can't change. Time is running out though surely? And would Paul Mitchell know what recruitment should look like?.. These are the questions people should be asking themselves.
No Newcastle rumours on BBC today thank God,this fella was mentioned recently Manchester United and Manchester City are both interested in ParisSt-Germain's 26-year-old Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, with the Ligue 1 side lining up Lille's French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, 23, as a potential replacement. (L'Equipe - in French)
Day 57 in the **** house. No transfers again and Eddie Howe is looking around at his team and saying…….
Did we really just sign Seung-soo Park purely because we are playing a match in his own country. Like literally the only reason why we signed him. To generate interest from the locals. Not because he’s a good prospect. Purely because he is from South Korea?
If this was Mike Ashley running the club there would be hell on, but there's no consistency. It's still more than possible Newcastle land what's required to avoid a train crash season, but I'm beginning to wonder if we might get not one more signing. We have time and perhaps it's all just deliberate paper talk.
The clubs got to grow it's revenues so makes sense even if he's been used like a lump of peanut butter and honey for some bears. I'm pleased the clubs gone to Singapore and not America, because Americans has already been claimed by the big 6 and owns about 70% of the Premier League. They ain't going to market nufc over there.
Andy Howe is apparently acting up as sporting director and in charge of the negotiations with Brentford for Wissa. Wissa has actively refused to play again for them. So I think this transfer gets done soon. £28m is apparently what we have offered and they want over £40m. Jeez. We are currently miles apart.
True. We did it with Kuol and look how that turned out. I’m not sure we have multi million pound Australian sponsorship deals yet…….
