You obviously failed to notice the reference to a verbal contract with my using that vague expression 'verbal contract'. It wouldn't be a 'verbal contract' if any elements of a contract were missing. Therefore, no need for me to refer to any elements of forming a contract if I'm working on the premise that a verbal contract exists. The clock is already running.
Most of the media are quoting "verbal agreement" as opposed to specifically stating "verbal contract". And I've seen one using "verbal pact". So what is the difference between 'agreement', 'pact' and 'contract' from a purely legal standpoint? And if it is an agreement (or pact), is that any different to Isak being told the club would negotiate a revised contract? And I'm not saying that is the reason why Isak wants away, but it is is being reported as such in the same manner as Wissa being unsettled by verbal agreement being breached.
