Good! The final end of a load knackers that never gets in the team and get paid a ****tonne!

Hopefully we'll keep Schar, and I wouldn't mind offering Krafth a one year as back up, but otherwise they're wastes of space like Wilson.

    This is an exciting time.

As I say just playing devils advocate. Tbh I personally agree - in the main - but I do feel there's got to be a degree of flexibility there - we could have done with a RW - still can an will need to address this in the summer now but if there'd been a RW available on loan for sensible money I'd have taken it in the window just gone.

You have missed the current amortisation of our current players cost which will be in the region of 90m a year next season. So 200m wages and 90m of amortisation.

So the £350m (likely to be less) less £290m 60m for wages and amortisation. I reckon that gives us between 100m and £150m of transfer fees possibly.

Yes in the fact that it’s the maximum we could go to. But then our revenue may have dropped with being out of the champions league.

Still theoretically speaking we could spend 100-150m and we do now have players we could sell.

The rules still favour the big clubs.

It’s absolutely crucial we need to grow commercial revenue streams.

GK- £25m (so £5m a season for PSR)- Trafford
RW- £50m (so £10m for PSR)- Bryan or Tyler.
CB- £50m (so £10m for PSR)- Guehi or similar

one or two squad replacements for around £20m each so say £40m (£8m for PSR)

    So £165m spent.

lots of talent for the kids (doesn't impact PSR)

If we spend £165m I would be extremely surprised. But I would love it if we did.

I reckon we are going to sign a RW and a CB and a GK but not a striker.

Sounds like the great freebie, Jonathan David, is off the menu. Going to Barcelona, according to the latest reports.

Osimhen release clause dropping to approx £60m this summer window. Apparently will accept wages under 200k pw.

Got to go to Arsenal, surely. He’s also allegedly a prat so would fit right in.

Yeah, perhaps. I think they may end up signing Sesko, which would be a shame as he'll probably turn out to be the better signing out of the two.

Personally think they will still be looking for deals - players like Jonathan David (on a free) and/or with potential to develop/sell for big profits e.g. Roony Barghadi at Kobenhagen or Rayan at Vasco de Gama - both on free's this summer, touted for big things but not seen either linked with much recently...

Eddie Howe saying that Wilson can still win himself a new contract, presumably by staying fit and available for selection for the remainder of this season and performing well when called upon. Not a surprising stance or response to a leading question to be honest. Good man management.

if Wilson does get a new contract it is criminal.

He hopefully wont. Howe's response was along the lines of 'No guarantees, can't see the future, but I'd never write Wilson off'. Hardly the promise of imminent contract negotiations which the headline has tried to spin. I'm hoping that it's just an example good man management rather than an indicator of Howe or anyone else at the club really thinking a new contract is a good idea.

    I agree.

However if we could keep him fit. Hes a goalscorer and they don’t come cheap these days.

If you can get 15 to 20 games and say 7-9 goals out him it’s worth a shot.
