You're right. I've mentioned this before. I liken it to like small man syndrome. They know that they are the inferior club, yet act like the big man to try and hide their diminutive stature. Even when Spurs are (temporarily) above Arsenal, they subconsciously know that it isn't their rightful place and will (unconsciously) **** it up for themselves. We've had Lasanga-gate, Fulop-gate, Ghost goal-gate, £120m spunked up the wall-gate and and endless array of watching the spuds hilariously **** it up.
That's correct it isn't over yet. But when you read some of the posts from the likes of HIAG who thinks that it is and that Spurs are now the top NL team because you beat us last week and that there is some kind of shift in power because you were above us for a day or two, expect some payback when the normal service resumes
The likes of HIAG? He is a one-off, an original. Name me one other - just one - spurs fan that makes the same sort of predictions he does? I'll save you time, there aren't any. Until he becomes an official spokesman for our club you can't take him as representing the rest of us. Hardly any of us think top 4 is likely, but while we are this close we'll dream about it.
So what you're saying is that his rantings are an embarrassment to Spurs fans ? What he must mean when he blathers on about being 'owned' is that he's been disowned by his fellow fans
As I've tried to point out to your "moderator", he loves it! The more wound up people get, the more outrageous he gets....
Yep HIAG doesn't make any posts that ever come back to bite him on the arse. If you believe he's taking the piss then you're as deluded as he is.
I'm not sure who you think is getting wound up, but it certainly isn't Gooners, we're sitting back rolling about laughing at the ****e HIAG comes out with.
The positives I take from yesterday:- (a) we played very well for long periods of the game, and had something like 60% of the possession (b) there appeared to be a good balance to the team (c) this distraction is now over, so we can concentrate on securing 4th spot. Would rather we had won the Cup, but not surprised (and, there, not at all upset) that we didn't. For as much as petty wumsters might choose to scoff, the fact of the matter is that Spurs managed to get to the final, and ended up losing to a side that any other side put up against them, on the same day, would probably have lost to, and without the guarantee of having played as well as we did. Onwards and upwards!
Or put another way, Spurs crashed out of two cups (albeit second rate competitions) and are sliding down the table in 7th, whilst the gap between them and the top 4 grows. All in the space of a week. Viva la revival
You're the worst petty wumster on here HIAG, why would anybody bother to take notice of what you said ? Besides, I'm just pointing out the facts. I can't help it that you get wound up by the reality of the situation. If you don't like this reality, you can always go and hide in that parallel dimension of yours
We all are aware that the COC is a "minor" cup competition. That is until The Goons are doing well in it. Then it will suddenly become of major importance.
