As somone managed to get rid of the last thread by someone merging it with cricket.... This is the Premier league annual cull thread where clubs hunt and kill managers. Managers culled this year: Silva watford (replaced by Javi Gracia, very average coaching career) Hughes stoke (replaced with paul lambert) Clement swansea (replaced by Carlos Carvalhal) Pulis wba (replaced by pardew) Bilic west ham (replaced by Moyes) Koeman everton (replaced by allardyce) Shakespeare leicester (replaced by Puel) De boer palace (replaced by Hodgson) 8 men down this season so far? How many more are going before the end? Pelligrino.... has to be next... Rafa? might walk tbh Hughton at brighton? unlikely but it could happen surely nobody else? (this year) Will any of the new appointees go by may? could happen.
this thread has been fixed up to be mark ii of the manager's annual cull as started by dribs. The cricket thread SOMEHOW got merged into it and i had to rescue some but could not rescue all content.
Not really. We can't do anything to stop Man Utd winning their games by more goals than us. And we all know what happens when we go all out to improve our GD
So Pelligrino finally sacked last weekend and now hughes is supposed to be the new man. Seems like the smae old names and the merry go round continues. Hughes did an ok job at a few clubs and have moved about so is experienced His best time imo was at Blackburn and that got him a shot at city which ended in failure. Less said about fulham and that madness at QPR the better, he did a decent job at stoke but the club seemed to be going nowhere under him and the board there. He started out transforming a pulis dire side into a footballing one but hey just didn't seem willing to invest there. Well guess what.. back into exactly the same debacle at southampton. Can he keep them up?... tough one.
